Dog mom searching for her Aussie pup finds him sitting on top of horse friend

Emily Sebryk adopted a mini Australian Shepherd and named him Robin.

You’ve guessed it.

It was short for Robin Hood.

From the moment she saw little Robin, her heart knew she had to adopt him.

She went home and the first thing that she did was introduce the puppy to her beloved Andalusian horse, Teddy.

Then she also introduced Robin to her other pets.

Emily placed Robin on Teddy’s back.

It was a cute way of introducing the two animals.

She did not expect that it was the start of a beautiful friendship between the adorable puppy and the majestic horse.

From then on, Emily had noticed how her puppy would get so excited each time they went to the barn.

The little pup would wiggle his tail and run to Teddy, signaling Emily to put him on the horse’s back once again.

Emily had started an adorable routine.

Days, months, and years went by.

Robin grew up with Teddy. The pup’s favorite spot? None other than Teddy’s back.

According to Emily, the unlikely best friends were inseparable.

Every time people see them, some would say they were adorable, but some get weirded out.

After all, it’s not every day that you see a dog and a horse playing.

Emily would ask Robin if he wanted to visit Teddy.

The puppy’s eyes would light up and as the fur mom opened the door, Robin would run to Teddy.

In the barn, Teddy waits for his bestie.

Robin knows the drill.

Emily would put one knee up and Robin would use it to jump on Teddy.

The duo would then go for a stroll.

For little Robin, Teddy, the horse isn’t just a friend. He is his big brother, his mentor, and his best friend.

People would often ask about their size difference, but they go along so well that size really doesn’t matter.

Teddy is so gentle and loving.

People would ask Emily how Teddy and Robin play.

When Robin wasn’t strolling with Teddy, they would race and be merry.

They are a little competitive.

Robin would dash and leave Emily riding Teddy, but soon Teddy would race and keep up with Robin’s speed.

“He just takes off because he knows Teddy’s coming. He throws his head back, puts his ears down, thinks he’s more aerodynamic, and runs even faster. And, of course, we catch up to him,” Emily shared with The Dodo.

They don’t just hang out and stroll.

They can be really naughty, too.

Emily recalled that once, she noticed her carrots disappeared.

She wondered who the culprit was, so she placed a camera in the barn and recorded the suspicious event.

When she saw who, she laughed.

Teddy and Robin worked together to get those juicy fresh carrots. Emily caught the two best friends.

“It’s such a joy to watch them,” she lovingly said.

According to Emily, the bond between Teddy and Robin is pure and honest. It’s one of the most beautiful things she has seen.
