Adorable 1-year-old 'chef' has 1.7M Instagram followers including Gordon Ramsey
Social media and the internet have made way for tons of baby/children celebrities, that have millions of people that follow them. Like this 1-year-old, who helps his parents cook. Through some clever editing by his mother, his videos appear as if he does all the cooking and has touched the hearts of millions of people including many celebrities.
This is totally adorable, he really loves to cook!
1-year-old Kobe Wian is a precious little boy who knows his way around the kitchen and has gone viral for it
When Kobe’s parents first introduced him to the kitchen, it wasn’t about teaching him to cook but about learning more practical skills that children need.
“We’re really practical with him and cooking was one of those things where it wasn’t even about the food at first, but learning and fine tuning motor skills. And the kitchen is the perfect place to do that,” his mother Ashley Wian told GMA.
Once they realized how much Kobe loved being in the kitchen, his mother got a brilliant idea
Ashley decided to start filming Kobe as he helped her with the cooking. Together, the mother-son duo started making clever and endearing video’s that quickly began gaining attention from major celebrities.
“In the beginning Jennifer Aniston liked a video of his. I freaked out I was like, ‘Wow she knows Kobe exists,” said Ashley.
Before long Kobe’s fan base grew uncontrollably, with people like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gordon Ramsey, and Rachel Ray jumping on board
Kobe’s parents had no idea his cooking videos would take off like this, it really was just a way to share his cooking experiences with friends and family.
In his cooking videos, the 1-year-old is seen doing every step of the meal preparation with his mom holding him and standing by to ensure his safety.
“It kind of just happened literally overnight. I was like, ‘Whoa, I guess I need to bake another cake.'” Said Ashley, she went on to say: “It’s definitely an anomaly I would say. We did not anticipate any of this. We originally just started this to share with friends and family to see Kobe learning in the kitchen and put it on Facebook.”

The best part is the joy you can see in Kobe as he helps his parents cook. The baby boy genuinely loves what he’s doing and it’s written all over his lovable face.
While many kids won’t dare try different foods, Kobe has quite the palet for such a young kid. He’s not afraid to try anything, something that his parents introduced him to at a young age.
“Kobe definitely has an adventurous palate. He’s not afraid to try anything. We encouraged him to try different foods all the time and started when he was just 6 months [old] by trying a new food every day.” Ashley told GMA.
The 1-year-old with over 1.7 million followers on Instagram, now has a Twitter, Tik Tok, and website that is all run by his parents
