Dad’s Choice of Song

Dad could have chosen some nursery rhyme to sing but instead, he chose “I’M Movin On” by Rascal Flatts. The song for some is considered to be a bit of a sad one, but the baby doesn’t seem to see it that way. As her face lights up with a smile as dad does his rendition of it.

The Baby Joins In

Many babies when they are being sung to will either smile or laugh, but this adorable baby girl decided to sing right along with Dad. You can see by her facial expression that every coo she makes is done with feeling. Almost as if she is trying to sing in harmony with him.

Dad happens to have a very good singing voice. But his daughter just might be his match when she gets older. If her coos and her own rendition of this song are any proof of that.

Danielle doesn’t say whether Dad chose this song just because he enjoys it or because the words have special meaning. They certainly are applicable when it comes to child-rearing. Children “move on” very quickly as they seem to be babies one day and young adults the next.

“I’m movin’ on. At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me and I know there’s no guarantees, but I’m not alone. There comes a time in everyone’s life when all you can see are the years passing by and I have made up my mind that those days are gone.”

Babies never seem to stop astounding people with their capabilities.
