Kids are naturally curious. Most of the things that they do are driven by their curiosity.

Sometimes, they try things that are obviously wrong but we let them so they can learn from it.

Why children are curious?

Obviously, they are new to this world so everything that they see is new to their eyes. At a young age, they are naturally hungry for learnings.

The Director of Centre for Montessori Training, Chennai, who is Uma Shankar expresses his amazement towards kids’ curiosity, particularly pre-schoolers. He also believes that kids are natural explorers.

“If they see any object, they need to put it in their mouth to learn about it. They want to feel, touch and taste all the objects they can hold, and enjoy sensorial experiences a lot. Just open your bag in front of your child, and he will walk up to you and peek into it, and take out the contents one by one!”

Children’s curiosity is actually good. It ignites their creativity and makes them capable of dealing with uncertainty in the world. This is according to Jamie Jirout, PhD, a researcher at the Department of Psychology, Temple University, Philadelphia.

“I have found curiosity to be related to children’s question-asking, and both curiosity and question-asking to be related to children’s ability to deal with uncertainty in the world and find effective ways of resolving that uncertainty.”

So if your kids want to play something in your house, let them. So long as these things aren’t dangerous for them and you guide them, it will surely be beneficial.

Like this kid who was exploring in a backyard and playing with a water hose.

And he was with a cute guardian and companion who was actually tolerating him to play with water – probably because he was thirsty. The boy was holding the host and letting the water pour into the dog’s mouth.

A playful kid in the cutest way!

Then he started swinging the hose and playfully making the dog chase after the water. What makes him more adorable is when he giggles every time his furry friend run after the water.

Such a friendly Collie!

The Collie is a native breed from Scotland – largely in the Highland regions but also bred in the Lowlands as well as in Northern England.

They are also described as devoted, proud, and graceful. They also have the ability to envision the needs of their owners.

Great things about Collies don’t end there because they are really friendly and they love children. According to vetSTREET, Collies think of everyone around them as their friends. They are also not picky when it comes to the people they play with.

They protect all the members of the family. So if your family wants to own a dog, Collie is a perfect choice.

Not only that, but Collie can also bond with other pets.

They can get along well with anyone. No wonder why the Collie in the viral video was enjoying playing with the cute little kid.

Their video successfully stole hearts online and garnered more than 24 million views! Truly, they are both loveable! Their bond is heart-melting and makes me think if they are still together until now.

The clip was uploaded way back in 2008 so this kid must be around 12-14 now. It makes me happy imagining that they are still having great times together. Hopefully!

Their video is a significant keepsake that the child can look back on anytime.
