Elephants are known to be gentle giants, and that’s just one of their beautiful traits. Did you know that there’s something even better than being greeted by a gentle elephant?

It’s way better if it’s a small yet courageous elephant calf!

Thanks to our phones, and of course, the internet, videos such as this one is being uploaded daily. Then, it’s up to us if it will become viral or not.

This video was uploaded last 2012, the quality is obviously not as good as the videos that we have today, but it still went viral getting over 2M views.

The video centers on a herd of elephants wherein their smallest member, a calf, decides to charge at the safari truck full of tourists.

This little elephant was either taught to be independent at a very young age or has a strong spirit for such a tiny body.

What you will see in this video is a herd of elephants eating and just minding their own business.

Two calves were playing when they start to notice the vehicle of the tourists. The bigger of the two seems to be cautious and eventually starts to move backward as if seeking an older elephant’s guidance.

However, the smallest of the herd didn’t show any fear or anxiety towards the safari truck.

He was full of courage, he was determined as if he was the biggest and the strongest of them all!

Even after displaying how tough he was, the tourists didn’t feel scared at all – in fact, they found this tiny elephant cute and adorable!

One tourist even commented on how cute this calf was for not knowing how to use this trunk.

You can even hear the tourists giggling about this little guy’s determination.

The little elephant seemed to have heard them and was a little offended that these people weren’t even scared of him – not even one bit!

He decides to go to the next level and show these people that he’s not joking.

He then charges with a few but strong and determined steps towards the vehicle, and then he stops. He then shows off his strength by letting out a big hop and then a stomp. He’s a strong calf, and he’s ready to face all of you!

Oh no! These hoomans aren’t even backing out! Wait, are they even laughing now?

As if we can hear the little tough guy’s thoughts. He then proceeds and takes a few more steps, then he kicks the dirt!

Are you scared now, hoomans?

Nope, we only hear more giggles. The little elephant calf seems to be frustrated, but let’s be honest here, he is really adorable! Everything he does is just too cute!

The poor elephant gives up and sulks off!

We think he’s running off to tell the other elephants that some rude visitors keep on laughing at him!

People all over the world also shared what they thought of this hilarious encounter.

“Aw, c’mon folks … act a LITTLE scared! Baby’s doing his/her best to be a big scary elephant!”

We agree, the people could have given this little calf credit for his bravery!

Elephant: “Come back in 20 years and we’ll see who’s laughing then”

Oops! Just remembered that “an elephant never forgets,” so we might have a little problem here. We sure hope they don’t cross paths again after a few years!
