These days babies seem to start on solid foods at about the age of 6 months. Until then, their food is milk- whether they are breastfed or formula-fed.

So, at about that age, they get started on vegetables and fruits and, unlike the latter (which are usually loved by babies and toddlers), vegetables- and especially green vegetables- seem to be an acquired taste for them.

Well, at least that’s certainly the case for this vocal baby.

It has been argued that one of the reasons why babies and toddlers hate vegetables as they grow up is that they are first given store-bought baby food.

This kind of food almost always contains a minimum amount of vegetables and most of it is really artificial flavorings.

Although we have no idea what the reason behind this hatred for veggies is in this case, the baby in the video below clearly hates her veggies- and more specifically, peas.

Some of the first veggies that are great for starting a baby on are pureed carrots, green beans, squash, potato, and -guess what- peas!

But this doesn’t mean all babies love the above vegetables.

Some of them, like the tiny lady in the video, actually hate them!

These new parents must have been super excited to feed their baby her peas for the first time. They picked a nice bowl and a nice spoon- daddy sat opposite the hungry baby and mama decided to film their first attempt.

The baby’s reaction? She simply hated the new flavor she just tried!

When daddy scoops a small spoonful of pureed peas from the bowl and brings it to the baby’s mouth, it is obvious right away that she didn’t like it.

Her face when she tries it is priceless! She tries to get it out of her mouth without even swallowing any of it.

Daddy is disappointed that she doesn’t like it, but he decides to try again.

He gives her another spoonful, but once again she’s not willing to swallow it.

Her face says it all: she hates it already.

Her daddy uses the spoon to wipe the puree off her face, while her mom can’t hold her laughter. Then daddy makes one more attempt, hoping that the third one will be the lucky one- but in vain.

The baby decides to make it clear she’s not having anymore.

Just when her dad is about to give her another spoonful, the baby turns her head and makes her point.

She says “I’m done”!

Her dad is shocked by her reaction and he repeats it to her mother. They are both laughing at the fact that their daughter’s first words are “I’m done”- and that they have to do with peas!

The little baby obviously hates them, but at the same time she still wants to eat- it clearly shows in her fists.

We have this feeling that her mom gave her the beloved milk once they were done trying and filming.

The YouTube community has loved this adorable baby and her reaction, which shows from the 6 million views it has gotten, not to mention the thousands of likes and comments.

We are sure that her parents didn’t stop trying and we are convinced that they have managed to get her to eat her peas by now.
