Baby goat demands more pets by making the sweetest noises ever

Do you know what’s adorable that you’d suddenly want to keep as pets? Baby goats.

We don’t see them as much but go to a livestock farm and you’ll see a ball of bleating fluff stumbling around. They seem to be less aware of their size because as early as a couple of weeks, they’re ready to take you on.

A baby goat from Barn Sanctuary displayed this level of spunky fighting spirit.

Does this hand really think that he’s a small goat wanting pets? That he can easily be swayed by tickles over his head and under his chin? No, sir!

The goat charged at the hand at full speed and let out the strangest and the most adorable squeak you’d thought was never possible for a goat.

It’s like a bleat, a baby’s cry, and a small quack at the same time. But don’t let his squeal fool you. At one point in the video posted by Barn Sanctuary, he even took several steps back for a good charging room, then rammed forward.

The ram, of course, ended more of a boop than anything.

The minute-long video has been watched over 28 million times had people swooning over this baby goat’s adorable bleating.

One of the comments said:

“Okay. The thing I learned about myself today is that I really want a goat.”

They’re not wrong, though. The video would really make you want to have a baby goat.

Barn Sanctuary and various animal rescue shelters give you this kind of opportunity. Barn Sanctuary is a shelter dedicated to abused and neglected farm animals. There are over 100 rescued animals under their care, including cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, sheep, and goats.

Twitch, the little goat in the video, is one of such animals. According to Barn Sanctuary, Twitch was only a few hours old when he was rescued together with his sister Portia.

Twitch was lying face down in the straw motionless. The farmer didn’t think they’d survive so he gave them up to Barn Sanctuary.

After being nursed back to full health, Twitch quickly made himself known to the sanctuary as an independent animal who needs no rubs. In one video, he’s even shown bumping one of the dogs – that is, if a small boop counts as a full-on head butt.

In his sanctuary profile, Twitch is described as being playful, quirky, but is selective of who he spends his time with.

He may not be as sociable as his sister, but Twitch is someone who can entertain company.

And while he tried his best to fight the pets, it would quickly show that he’s also fond of it. By the time the hand stopped tickling his forehead, Twitch seemed to walk up to the person and demanded the rubs that were rightfully his.

He may be feisty, but with a little gentle treatment and careful neck scratches, Twitch returns to his adorable baby form.
