There’s absolutely no denying that all four-footers are immensely cute in their own way, but many husky owners will agree that their look certainly is very distinct and special – and it can even be absolutely adorable at times.

The blue eyes have a great contrast with the white and brown fur which makes huskies incredibly photogenic. They fit in wonderfully in a snowy landscape, but their personalities are often warmer than ever, even though huskies do tend to be a little bit overenergetic and exuberant sometimes.

For that reason, it can sometimes be a risk to let a small child or a baby come near a husky, as the four-footers can sometimes be too intense for the child to handle.

However, this adorable husky is most definitely an exception, proving that huskies can also be incredibly sweet, calm and gentle.

In a video that was shared to YouTube, we see a fairly large husky sitting down minding his own business when he suddenly gets some attention from a baby.

“A baby plays adorably with a very gentle Husky, proving that big dogs can be great companions for everyone! How cute is that?” the video caption reads.

At the beginning of the video, the baby crawls towards the full-grown husky as he’s incredibly curious and wants to see if the husky wants to play with him. The small baby can’t reach him at first, but when he crawls a little bit closer, he finally succeeds in petting his fur.

However, that doesn’t last very long. When the husky starts to notice that his hand is close to the ears, the dog immediately decides to play along!

The husky rolls on his back and makes sure that he gets under the baby’s arms so that the adorable baby would be able to pet him as much as he wanted. Of course, the four-footer also wanted to reciprocate a bit, and not too long after the pooch starts licking his face.

It’s just absolutely adorable to witness! We’re not too sure if the baby is a huge fan of the licks on his belly, but it’s a heartwarming and cute moment nonetheless.

The person who was holding the camera couldn’t hold their laughter back.

The two then continue to hang around together, and the husky is surprisingly playful and submissive as he allows the baby to put his weight on him. You can see that things are starting to get a little more physical, but it’s still all in good fun and the husky is always being very gentle and careful with the small baby.

As you can see in the video, the baby even tried to put his hands inside the four-footers mouth, and the dog responds with a sweet nibble and more licks.

They say that a dog is a man’s best friend, but we’re pretty sure that the saying counts for this baby as well. It’s as if the four-footer is protective of the small child and wants to take care of him – you can definitely see how much he wants to shower the small child with attention and love.
