Husky and baby meet up in living room for hilarious ‘chat’
Effective communication requires a speaker and a listener, but isn’t that too boring?
Dogs are known as man’s best friend, true enough because these four-legged creatures will give you nothing but pure love and uncontested loyalty.
Little do we know, a dog can also be a baby’s best buddy. Babies have all the time in the world to play with equally playful dogs. Unlike the grown-ups who spare most of their time with other activities like household chores or professional obligations at work.
It’s all making sense now, isn’t it?
According to a website:
“A new study out of the University of Alberta shows that babies born into families with furry pets have a reduced risk of developing allergies and obesity if they’re exposed to the animals in the first few months of life.”
When little baby Garrett decides to play with the family’s Husky named Phoenix, everything turns into a whole new world of cuteness.
And the true beauty of a game between a baby and a husky is simplicity.
All baby Garrett has to do is a little jump and let out a joyous squeal.
Then it’s Phoenix the Husky’s turn to return the favor.
He jumps up on all fours, does a few quick side steps, and lets out a happy howl that sends Garrett into a laughing fit.
Sometimes, the biggest things in life come in a small package and baby Garrett and Phoenix are just one of the many examples of it.
We get so used to the mundane reality of our lives that we forget to take pleasure in the small things–something that neither a baby nor a dog ever forgets to do.
Don’t believe me?
When’s the last time that you ran up to your loved one when they walked in the door and greeted them with the enthusiasm of a dog?
Or how about the last time that you jumped and ran and laughed just for the sake of doing so?
That’s what I thought.
We forget that there is more to life than working hard and saving money.
According to Scientific American, studies have found that “a sense of humor lowers mortality rates, especially in women.”
So why do we spend so much time making such a big deal out of the meaningless drama and pointless frustrations?
Whatever the answer may be, at least we’re not alone in feeling this way.
A study conducted in the U.K. found that “life is ‘least fun’ at age 45…”
And not only that, but the study also revealed that the actual “concept of fun” ended for almost half of the participants when they entered adulthood.
Does it mean we’re going to live our golden years in such a boring way? Are we really going to lose our sense of fun once we reach that point in life?
I don’t think so.
It just takes a little more effort to have fun as we get older.
And in some cases, all it takes is a simple smile to get those happiness juices flowing.
According to a study in Science Daily, “facial expressions have a small impact on feelings. For example, smiling makes people feel happier, scowling makes them feel angrier, and frowning makes them feel sadder.”
Easy right?
It’s not that hard to let out a few smiles every once in a while.
And luckily for you, you don’t have to generate that smile all on your own if you don’t want to.
During these trying times, most people tend to fear what tomorrow might bring them, and that’s totally fine. However, you must still keep your hopes high and keep on praying for this pandemic to be over soon. In the meantime, find ways to have fun (in a safe way), it’s so easy, you just need to have that proper mindset.
Consider yourself lucky if you have a dog. So take a tip from a baby and dog and find happiness in simple things.
