When the sun is burning and all that matters is staying cool and fresh, diving in the pool is always the first thing that comes to our minds.

It is refreshing and also a way to bond with our friends and family as we all beat the summer heat.

Dipping in the cool pool water is not only something that people love.

Even our pets are keen on having a fun day splashing water especially when the heat is too much to bear.

Pet dogs and cats may not be too happy with bathtime but they sure love to swim in the pool.

Taking pets to the bathroom for a quick cleaning is sometimes a big challenge for pet owners, but when it comes to swimming in the pool, pets are more excited to do it than having to endure a brief shower time.

Can you remember the first time your pets visited the pool or took a dip in the fresh water?

I’m pretty sure that this moment is special for fur parents, and a moment such as this is something you simply can’t miss, which is why the owners of this baby otter made sure that its first time being in a pool is captured on camera.

Meet young Tororo, a baby otter.

In Japan, owning otters as house pets is completely legal, and various restrictions need to be complied with.

Baby Tororo is one of the otters owned as a pet in the country and his everyday adventures are all shared on social media and YouTube by his owners.

Tororo’s mom is Otsuyu, a 3-year-old otter. In the video clip uploaded on their YouTube channel LOUTRE, the baby can be seen as he explores the fun of being in the pool for the first time.

His actions are just so adorable!

The young otter is excitedly exploring the house and goes wherever he wants and sleep whenever he wants.

His mom, Otsuyu, sleeps away from him but stays near her sister, Odashi.

The three of them are happily living in their forever home and on one of their adventures, baby Tororo is about to find out the fun of being in a pool.

The other otters in the house are familiar with swimming in their tiny pool, but young Tororo has not tried being in the pool yet.

On that day, Tororo was going to be placed in the cute pool for the first time.

Tororo was carefully placed in the blue pool where the other otters are already enjoying.

He was greeted by the cool water and he initially was trying to get out of it.

Odashi immediately approaches him and kind of grooms him in the water.

Baby otters are born with an unpleasant odor and it fades away after cleaning and being groomed by other otters such as their parents.

In the video, Tororo is mentioned to still have a slightly stinky smell that is slowly fading away.

The little otter sure loves to be in the water!

Otters are naturally accustomed to living in both watery areas and dry land.

This must be the reason why Tororo became familiar with it so quickly.

He is having such a fun time, as well as the 2.2 million viewers of the video. Aww!
