Quarantine has been getting old for many of us, and it makes total sense to see people restless and ready to get out of the house to start life again. One little boy had a surprise and a ton of fun when his grandfather built him a working backyard roller coaster. The child’s mother who lives in Maryland posted a video to the web on May 22nd and people all over the internet started sharing it.

What an amazing Grandfather!

She provided another update by video just a little time later with a specific tweet that captioned “it’s not done but they having the time of their lives.” She posted this in the evening on May 22nd. The grandfather can be seen taking his precious grandson along through a magical ride on top of a wooden roller coaster.

The boy looks ecstatic riding up and down on his track. The whole project is close to completion in the video, but you can tell the boy doesn’t care. He’s enjoying himself! The end appears to be connected to a garbage can, but no worries, they will figure it out eventually.

Only two days later, the backyard roller coaster is completed with an incredible feat of home carpentry! The pair now have their own Instagram account called bubbieandnugget after the initial post went viral, where they were able to reveal the completed roller coaster. Now, the temporary garbage can is gone and the entire track is complete.

He got to work to finish the rollercoaster.

Just a few days later, the coaster can be seen completed after some pretty crazy carpentry skills. Now, the two have a special Instagram account called bubbieandnugget because the initial post went viral. They want to keep updating their fans! The garbage can has been removed and the full track is complete. The full reveal of the roller coaster is nothing shy of incredible!

What an amazing experience for the little boy, and what a move by his Grandfather!
