When found, the black German shepherd was in a small, portable kennel on the side of the road. Initially, he refused to exit his kennel, even when the person who found him approached to check on him. It was as if he was waiting for his owner to return for him. The person who found him posted on his Facebook page in the hopes of finding out more information about who he belonged to.

Facebook users who responded to the post figured that he had not been dumped as the dog looked to be very expensive. More than likely, he had been stolen and dumped at the location. After he was caught, the dog, named Borel, was taken to a local vet where it was found that he had a microchip. From there it was determined that he had actually come from a breeder and they were soon contacted.
