We all had unforgettable experiences on the road. It could be a long drive with our loved ones, running into famous people, meeting new friends in a traffic jam, and a lot more.

But nothing beats it when you unexpectedly meet an unlikely friend in the middle of nowhere.

One day, a woman had no idea that she’d surprisingly bump into a creature that will eventually change and tweak the course of her journey.

An encounter she will never forget.

That day, a woman named Michelle Logan was on her way to work when she decided to make a quick stop to fix her window wiper.

According to her, it was raining that day and she made sure to stop somewhere safe. Little did she know, she was about to meet someone furry.

When she stepped out of the car, she immediately saw two canines, a yellow and a black lab.

The yellow lab was not in the mood for a meet and greet with a stranger so it decided to walk away. But the black lab unhesitatingly ran straight to Michelle with a wagging tail.

A sign that the dog was ready to meet a new friend. Although she needed to continue on her journey to her workplace, Logan still managed to give the black lab some love by petting it.

While she was trying to show her dog-friendly side, the canine suddenly jumped right into her car.

It was something she didn’t expect to happen because she might be late for work.

It’s actually an adorable sight, but not when you are headed to somewhere important like your workplace.

She didn’t want to just shoo the adorable dog away, however, every tick of the clock was really important that day.

The kind lady didn’t know what to do and their encounter lasted for 20 to 30 minutes. Just there, in the middle of nowhere, trying to figure out how to deal with the situation.

She tried opening the door but the dog was not having it and decided to hang out with her for a little while.

If it was a different person, they might’ve pushed the dog away. Gladly, it was Michelle who was there that day. She was patient and very kind to the handsome dog.

Finding “home”.

On her search for clues, Michelle saw the yellow lab again and it was peacefully resting in a certain house.

She had a hunch that it could be the black lab’s house too. She then opened the door hoping it was the dog’s home too.

To her surprise, it jumped off the car right away and ran straight to the house.

Sharing the lovely encounter, she said, “Who doesn’t love dogs? and then a happy one just comes up to someone randomly hops in their car. That’s literally, like, the best start to anyone’s morning, in my opinion.”

The next day, she went back to that house to check things out with her unexpected furry passenger. Normally, she’d just leave a letter with her contact information written on it, however, there were people outside the house.

“As soon as I pulled in the driveway, I feel like (the dog) knew it was me because he ran to my car, like, instantly.” Michelle explained. “As soon as I got out he ran right to me, and I was like ‘Hi!’ again.”

She learned that the dog’s name is Cole.

Michelle told them that their dog became famous, then showed them the number of people who had seen the video online.

They had a quick chat, she found out that the house belongs to the dog’s owner as explained by the father who was present that day.

The girlfriend of Cole’s owner even reached out to her on TikTok.

“This son’s girlfriend, she’s a nice nice nice lady! She actually reached out to me on TikTok and was like ‘Hey! that’s my boyfriend’s dog. It’s so crazy now he is famous.”

An unexpected encounter turned out to be an unforgettable one. In Michelle’s case, she met a couple of new friends like Cole and his family.
