We’ve all heard the classic Bon Jovi song ‘Livin’ On A Prayer,’ but have you ever heard a crowded park sing it in unison? That’s exactly what happened after one man sitting on a park bench, started wailing out the words to the legendary song.

If there’s one song that people will always sing along to, it’s Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ and this proves it

One man was enjoying a beautiful day at the park, but he just couldn’t get the classic song out of his head. That’s when he decided, if he had to hear it, everyone was going to. Luckily for him, it just happened to be a song that everyone knows and loves.

At first, it seems like everyone might ignore the man belting out Bon Jovi. You can hear the chatter of people in the park slowly start to get lower and lower.

When he gets to the chorus people begin to join in, for a massive impromptu choir singing ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’

Only certain songs would trigger this kind of reaction, the famous Bon Jovi song just happens to be one of them. As soon as he gets to the chorus, dozens of people start to jump in on the action singing:

“She says, we’ve got to hold on to what we’ve got,

It doesn’t make a difference if we make it or not,

we’ve got each other and that’s a lot for love,

we’ll give it a shot.”

Once they get to the second part of the chorus, the whole park begins to scream the well-known words

No one holds back when they get to everyone’s favorite part:

“Woah, we’re halfway there,

woah, livin’ on a prayer,

take my hand, we’ll make it I swear,

woah, livin’ on a prayer,

livin’ on a prayer.”

The camera pans out to show us how many people are actually there singing, and it’s unbelievable

Judging by the first part of the video you can tell a lot of people are singing. However, it’s not until the cameraman turns the camera to show us, everybody, that you realize how many people have joined him.

Hundreds of people are enjoying their day at the park, almost every single one of them is screaming out the chart-topping song. The popular hit song has received many awards, in the Billboard Hot 100 Anniversary 50 it placed #46.

Believe it or not, Bon Jovi didn’t like the song initially. But when his right-hand man, Richard Sambora, convinced him it was a hit, he decided to include it on their third album “Slippery When Wet” and it took off. Giving the band their first #1 song on the Billboards mainstream rock charts.

Now, almost 35-years later, it’s a household song that everyone loves. Just ask the people at this crowded park, clearly, Richie Sambora was right!
