Even though some cats and dogs can definitely get along under the same roof, we’d still think that this friendship is a rather unlikely one.

When a big, fierce American Pit bull meets a new sibling for the first time, it definitely makes owners a little bit worried about how they’ll react. However, when this canine four-footer saw this adorable little, furry kitten, their human knew that they’d get along just fine.

The size difference is truly stunning, but both of these siblings have a very big heart for each other.

The owner of the Pit bull, Daisy, decided to take an adorable tiny kitten home. She didn’t really know what would happen if she introduced her large Pit bull to the new family member, but she grabbed a camera to capture their first meeting on tape. Luckily, it turned out to be one of the most adorable sights ever.

It always takes some adjusting for animals when there’s a new pet in the home, but it looks like the Pit bull, Licious, definitely wanted to meet her new friend.

The woman posted their first encounter on YouTube because she just had to share this amazing ‘surprise’ video for Licious. His reaction is just absolutely amazing!

With incredible cuteness, the kitty tries to get closer to the towering dog and puts her own paws on the large dog’s massive paws.

The dog remains super calm, and simply watches as the kitten adores and licks her feet.

It’s actually quite surprising to see that the kitten doesn’t seem to bother the large Pit bull even in the slightest!

“What’s that kitty doing to ya, Mama?” mommy said to her pooch.

After a little while, the Pit bull decides to play along!

You can see her enthusiastically wagging her tail, and it doesn’t take long before Licious can’t contain herself. She starts overwhelming the adorable kitten with a ton of kisses!

This small cat suddenly finds herself showered with love, and it’s just absolutely precious to see.

In fact, mommy even has to step in.

“Lish, enough with the licking. Lish, no more kisses!”

It’s clear that these two will be having a ton of affectionate moments together.

Daisy posted the video on YouTube, and it quickly reached no less than 10 million views!

Clearly the internet adores these two as well.

“Your pitbull is behaving like a mother to the kitten when she was licking her under belly and behind. That’s how they encourage their baby to potty,” one viewer said, noting that the Pit bull’s motherly instincts were likely kicking in.

“Oh…oh my… this is too much cuteness than I can handle,” another commented.

“Kitten: “I’ll give you a manicure!”
Dog: “I’ll give you a bath!”” one YouTuber joked.

It’s a bit of a stereotype that Pit bulls are aggressive and generally don’t get along with people or other pups, but that definitely isn’t true. These are giants with a warm heart, and if this video isn’t proof that of, we don’t know what is.
