The four boys in this story could have ignored their suspicions. But thanks to their kindness, a dog is safe today.

Kenny, Kevin, Andrew and Kenneth are brothers who have kind hearts. One day, they were helping a neighbor move, when they noticed something odd. There was a dog lying on the ground. The house it was in front of was obviously vacant.

The kids could have left the dog on her own. But they all agreed that they had to help her out. When they approached the dog, they were able to see that she needed desperate help.

Someone, presumably the dog’s former owner, had tied her up with bungee cords. She couldn’t move.

The kids had no idea how long she had been tied up in front of the house. So they untied the dog. The dog was a little weak and needed food. So they brought her into their home and gave her some bologna from the fridge. The dog ate the food up ravenously.

Amazingly, the dog was being incredibly friendly to the boys. Even though someone had been cruel to her, she was still willing to give humans a chance.

The kids then called an animal rescue organization, named her Sparkles and played with her until the rescuers could arrive.

In fact, when the rescuers arrived, neither Sparkles nor the kids wanted the dog to go. Sadly, the kids’ parents couldn’t take the dog in, so she went to the shelter.

Luckily, the rescuers discovered that the dog did not have any serious health issues. She went into the shelter and waited for someone to adopt her permanently. In just a few weeks, Sparkles had been successfully rehomed.

The rescuers thanked the four boys for being good human beings. They also asked them to keep an eye out for other dogs in need. And the kids took that advice, as their next act shows.

A few months after they had rescued Sparkles, they found two stray puppies wandering around their neighborhood. Just like before, they took the dogs home, fed them, played with them and handed them over to the rescue organization.

The kids in this story are aged between seven and 14. They really show just how amazing children are today.

Sure, some people think that kids are lazy, selfish and spend all their time on YouTube. But the truth is that they are more kind-hearted and helpful than any previous generation.

In fact, the only thing that could possibly annoy these kids’ parents is the fact that they keep on giving all their lunch meats to dogs that they rescue. And even then, they understand why the kids are doing it.

Everyone should try to be more like the boys in this story. It doesn’t take much effort to look out for others in your community, whether they’re humans or animals! You just have to keep an eye out and extend some basic human kindness to those in need!
