Brenda flew in from Salt Lake City, Utah to get an extra-special makeover from the famous Christopher Hopkins, aka The Makeover Guy.

His “appearance studio” in Minneapolis, Minnesota sees clients from around the country – especially men and women over the age of 40 that are hoping to reinvent themselves.

At 68, Brenda is already looking great!

She’s been a homemaker all of her life and is now taking care of grandchildren along with her husband, a job for which she says she feels “very fortunate.”

But now she’s ready to acknowledge that it’s also time to take care of herself. And Hopkins not only gives her the “me time” she’s been craving but one of the more dramatic makeovers we’ve ever seen (and if you’ve watched his videos you know that’s saying a lot!).

Now that she’s at an age where she feels “worth it” to concentrate on herself, she put her look into Hopkins’ able hands.

To be fair, Brenda already looks younger than she is. Her skin is lovely and her hair healthy, though she says she’s been wearing it that way for the last 50 years!

Ok, it’s probably time for a change.

With what seems to be the wave of a wand, it’s as if Brenda’s voice is suddenly coming out of an entirely different person as we see her new look! We can’t believe our eyes!

“I have so much more self-confidence right now,” she said after she saw herself.

She said she’s now “full of energy and excited to embrace life.”

If that’s not a great result then we don’t know what is!

Brenda got a chin-length haircut and some beautiful waves. No longer grey-haired, she’s now a sassy strawberry blonde with some lovely golden highlights to frame her face.

“My long hair was my security blanket,” she admitted.

But she was also excited to get it cut off and she simply glows with her new shorter ‘do.

“This wonderful makeover is perfect and it’s videos just like this one that keeps me coming back to this channel, I feel so happy for this lady. I love the color with the highlights and such an easy youthful modern hair cut and style. I don’t know how you keep winning day after day but I’m glad you are on this earth making a real difference for so many,” gushed one commenter.

Brenda’s makeup involved some bronzer as well as some contouring that makes her features pop quite a bit more, especially her enviable cheekbones.

By filling in her brows and keeping her eye makeup subtle (she already had dark, long lashes), her eyes stand out more. But the real focus is on her lips which plump into a sexy pout with just a little bit of color.

It’s clear Hopkins is happy with his work as he sings a little ditty with Brenda at the end of her video and stands proudly behind her.

Brenda is ready to “be seen” by the rest of the world now! She’s all smiles and energy as she admires her finishing touches of a bright turquoise sweater that compliments her hair and trendy silver chain.

We just wonder if her grandchildren will recognize her when she gets home!
