Bullied little boy bursts into tears when he finds puppy waiting for him at home

Violence doesn’t choose its victims.

Usually, in a school setup, there’s an imbalance when it comes to power, may it be physical power, social, or intellectual.

Though we’re all aware of bullying in school, it’s a serious issue that’s sometimes overlooked because it often involves minors.

Sadly, bullying has already taken the lives of individuals who felt weak and helpless from their overpowering bullies.

According to the Center for Violence Protection of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia:

“Most school-aged children are exposed to bullying in some form due to the unequal balance of power and influence that is so common in youth relationships and peer groups. Research shows that bullying and harassment in schools increases in late childhood and peaks in early adolescence, specifically during middle school and typically takes place in unstructured settings such as the cafeteria, hallways, and playground during recess.”

This viral video features a poor boy that’s bullied at school.

His parents thought of a furry surprise that would help lighten up his load. And trust us when we say that when it comes to being bullied, the load can get very, very heavy.

The University of the People’s website says that bullying will only become bullying if it meets a certain set of requirements:

“Bullying must meet certain requirements to be considered bullying. These are: malintent, imbalance of power, repeatedness, distress, and provocation. School bullying may occur either in schools, on campus, or outside of school, but it is due to relationships created in school settings.”

This viral video shows a family that stepped up big time for their bullied son.

It starts with the guy (most likely the kid’s dad) recording before the boy even gets inside the house.

He then tells the little fella to take off his coat.

The little boy glanced at the box containing the surprise, but he didn’t know what was inside yet.

The little boy then goes to open the box. His eyes pop and his jaw drops as the realization of what’s happening washes over him.

“Whoa! A puppy!”

Those are the first words that came out of his mouth.

He’s shocked to see a little furry puppy sitting in the box.

He gives one woman a hug (presumably it’s grandma, who bought the pup). When he turns to the camera, he’s already sobbing and overwhelmed with tears.

There are no other details about the backstory of the video, but we’re positive that the little boy has been through a lot at school.

Clearly, this little surprise makes a huge difference.

He’s drowning in tears as he gives his new pal a hug.

It’s a raw sight of an innocent kid who’s overjoyed by a sweet surprise. It may not be some extravagant gift, but it’s more precious than silver or gold.

It obviously means a lot to him.

He then begins to pet his new dog, stroking its thick silky black fur.

He even gives the recorder an introduction of his new friend.

Everyone in the video is happy that the little boy finds a new source of happiness despite all the bullying he’s getting at school.

Not just a pet but a teacher.

According to Michigan State University’s website:

“Pets teach children valuable life lessons like responsibility, trust, compassion, respect and patience. While pets offer a lot of benefits to kids, kids also have a lot to offer the pet in your family as well. Both kids and pets enjoy high energy play as well as having a cuddle buddy during nap time.”

We need to open our eyes to the reality of life. We need to save them, especially the young ones. They don’t deserve to be abused in any way, especially at such young age. Truly, nobody deserves to be bullied.
