You can dance. You can jive. Having the time of your life!

Sometimes we can’t help it when we feel the beat from the tambourine, so to speak. It could strike us anywhere, at any time. Whether it’s in the shower, shopping for groceries, pumping the gas, or even on the way to work – sometimes the only thing to do is dance.

In fact, the daily commute is the perfect time to bust a move for some.

Just check out this happy citizen of the English town Eastleigh.

She’s a solid reminder that every moment is to be celebrated, even when you’re patiently awaiting the bus. And as we bid 2020 the fondest of farewells, letting go is a great practice for 2021. Hopes are high for a year of better times. What better way to ring it in than with this special video?

She’s got it all. She’s genuine, she’s spontaneous, she’s entertaining, and she doesn’t care who is watching! Nothing is better suited to take our minds off of the chaos than this enthusiastic gal dancing alone in public.

The video, which has become massively viral, features a bus stop in England.

As woman waits for the bus to arrive, she decides to pass the time with a move or two. Little did she know she was being recorded from somebody across the street! The moment is authentic and precious. She had little clue that she’d go on to become an internet sensation.

She is the dancing queen!

Marching to the beat of her own drum, she spends over two minutes shaking it street-side. Seemingly, nothing is going to get this woman down. She combines a variety of moves and sways, truly enjoying the music in her ears. The most inspirational part is that she has zero regard for the public that surrounds her. With this, she really is living her day to the fullest.

Now you see her, now you don’t.

Sadly, most good things come to an end eventually. The video ends with the big blue commuter bus pulling up to the stop. We can assume that she gets on as it pulls away. And just like that, she’s gone! The bus stop, once a lively place laced with energy, is empty once again.

However, the dancing queen of the bus stop’s memory lives on. It’s safe to say that she’s someone we can all aspire to be. Her fun, groovy, carefree attitude is a pleasure to witness. Not only was living it up for herself, she undoubtedly brightened the day for others as well.

Meet Ellie Cole.

She was discovered after this sweet video rose to fame. While the video features the song “Dancing Queen” by ABBA, it turns out she was actually listening to “Knockdown” by Alesha Dixon. Cole has a background in the performing arts, and this video helped her land a professional role in London’s AH Men musical.

Cole was even invited onto The Today Show for a special feature. Maybe strangers filming you isn’t all that bad!

While her original video was posted back in 2013, it continues to grow in fame with over three million views now.
