We’ve all got those songs that take us back to fond memories and happy times. This old man literally got to re-live them when he heard a busker sing a classic.

Like any other day, a street performer who calls herself DanDann set up her equipment on the Gran Via in Madrid, Spain. But what she didn’t realize was that something unique would happen.

She had been singing in public for a while when she started My Baby Just Cares For Me, the song made famous by Nina Simone.

An old man walking by stopped when he heard the instrumentation. And when DanDann started singing the lyrics, a huge smile spread across his face.

A few moments later, the old man started moving to the beat. He surprised people around him with his limber moves despite his advanced years. And then something even more amazing happened.

The singer herself left her microphone and started joining in with the old man.

The two of them started moving together like lifelong dancing partners. In reality, they were complete strangers. But the song had brought them together and made them act like they’d known each other for years.

The crowd watching the two was delighted. More and more people stopped to watch this unlikely pair move together.

Then the two dancers placed their hands on each other and began waltzing to the music.

This video had already become a heartwarming stereotype of romantic, sophisticated Europeanness, but then something even more perfect happened. An attractive young woman on an old fashioned bicycle passed in front of the camera.

Sadly, as the couple was really getting into the dance, the video cut out. Perhaps these two danced the night away?

The man who recorded this moment would then upload it onto Twitter. The video soon went viral. It currently has over 1.7 million views, 27,400 retweets and 84,900 likes. It also has many, many comments.

But the great thing is that this scene, while special, isn’t entirely rare.

The streets of Europe are filled with performers, and every once in a while, someone joins in with these performers.

Clearly, if you’re ever in Europe and you hear a busker start playing a favorite song, then it’s encouraged for you to start dancing with them!

Anyone who watches and listens to the original video will know that DanDann, the busker, is a very talented performer.

Luckily, there are many more videos online of DanDann singing and dancing in the streets. And you can see that everyone in these videos is amazed at her talent.

DanDann has already released one album and is working on more. With her talent, it won’t be a surprise to see DanDann become a huge star in the future.

And just think, the old man in the video may one day proudly claim to have danced with DanDann before she was famous, just because they both liked the same song!

We should all be a little more like DanDann and the old man in this video. If you like the way a song makes you feel, then there’s no shame in showing your appreciation for it. Who knows, you just might make someone’s day!?
