Will Murphy is a young actor, who adopted Daisy from Cat’s Aid in Ireland when she was still a kitten. Since then, she has been his best friend, roomie, and- why not – his daughter.

But, as it is natural for every girl out there, as they grow up there tend to be aspirant boyfriends calling at their houses hoping they will be the lucky ones. And Daisy is no exception to this rule. She has attracted the attention of all the male cats in the neighborhood, and they gather in her backyard, hoping for a date.

“Daisy does not like any of them,” Murphy told The Dodo. “The only time I ever see her angry/agitated is when they call around looking for her.”

One of those boys is Silken Thomas, as Will has named him, a beautiful grey cat that keeps coming back for Daisy, although she really seems uninterested.

However, Silken Thomas is not used to being rejected and won’t take no for an answer. He is a persistent little fellow that keeps coming back looking for Daisy, hoping that one day she will be his. Eventually, Will decided to have a little chat with his daughter’s admirer.

So, when Thomas returned to their backyard, Will opened the door and confronted him. He explained that Daisy was not there and he should come back some other time, and still he wasn’t sure if he could see Daisy.

Thomas wasn’t happy to hear that. He started meowing and then playfully biting and scratching him. He was clearly annoyed.

“He did get a little aggressive and gave a few playful nips to my hand but I’ve had cats nearly all my life so I’m used to getting [the] odd scratch/bite from them,” Murphy said.

Murphy explained to the cat that since he was getting aggressive, he had to put an end to their conversation, and so he went back inside, leaving the cat in the backyard hopelessly waiting for Daisy.

Murphy was so fascinated by this story of unrequited love on the part of Silken Thomas, that he created an album on Facebook which he named: “The romantic tales of Silken Thomas and Daisy”. So far he has uploaded three videos and three pictures of the protagonists, and, honestly, we can’t wait to see what will happen next!

In his latest video, Thomas is still waiting outside the window, while Daisy is sitting on a chair, not caring about her admirer one bit. Murphy encourages her to go and say hi to him, but she’s really not interested. Eventually, Murphy goes outside to greet Thomas, who is still angry at him, probably because he thinks he’s the one who doesn’t let Daisy meet him. If only he knew!

In any case, we are really enjoying this series and we hope that a new episode is released soon! Daisy is such a diva, and poor Thomas is just a victim of her beauty! As for Murphy, he’s just an observer of Thomas’ unrequited love. Let’s see what happens next.
