Cat has hilarious reaction when dad tries to sit on her favorite chair
Cats rubbing themselves against their owners or objects around the house is not an uncommon sight. According to experts on cat behavior, the reason why they do this is that they want to leave their scent on the person or object they’re rubbing against.
This way, they claim ownership of the respective items or they try to draw their owners’ attention when they’re constantly rubbing against them.
Yoshitsune lives with her mom and dad, who love her and enjoy spending time with her.
Yoshitsune’s mom, Reina, also likes buying new things and furniture for the house and it seems that Yoshi is particularly interested in anything new!
“[She] likes new things, and is nervous and impatient,” Reina told The Dodo. “However, she understands the words that people speak.”

Yoshi rubbing herself or sitting on new objects is very common, and, as mentioned above, it’s probably because she believes all these objects are gifts for her, so she wants to make sure everyone knows. Well, at least she doesn’t pee on them!
Now, her newest love is a desk chair her parents bought, which she immediately claimed as hers.
As soon as the gray and white chair made its appearance in the house, Υoshi jumped on it and made herself comfortable there. But she didn’t consider one little detail: she’d have to share it with dad.

Right, as you can imagine Reina and her partner didn’t buy a new chair for their cat, but rather to accommodate themselves at the desk. However, with Yoshi being so attached to the new piece of furniture, it was practically impossible to make proper use of the chair.
Yoshi decided she would do everything to prevent others from sitting on her chair. She used various methods to achieve this, like standing between the daddy’s back and the chair in order to make it as uncomfortable as possible for him.

When this didn’t work, she decided to push him away, which was clearly showing her feelings about the special chair!
Finally, she resorted to making an upset face to convince everyone she was in extreme pain when seeing her favorite object being used by someone else!
Reina posted photos of Yoshi on the cat’s social media. On Twitter she wrote:
“The new piece is my place. Somehow my dad is always sitting in the way.”
People loved the cat’s reactions and they commented about how cute she is!
“Yoshi you are so beautiful! Kisses from Brazil,” someone wrote, while someone else commented: “Daddy won’t get off MY chair”!

What has been the outcome of all this? Yoshitsune always gets what she wants- her dad can’t handle her complaints so he lets her have the chair every single time.
Luckily, Reina and her partner know that as soon as they buy a new piece of furniture Yoshi will be claiming that instead, so they’re just waiting and not using the chair until their next purchase arrives home!
