If you’ve been around cats or are a cat owner, you’ll most likely agree that our furry feline friends can definitely be naughty and mischievous most of the time. The adorable kitten who listens to the name ‘Garlic Bread’ definitely has a mischievous, yet loving, personality – and she also never ceases to amaze her owner Danni McLain.

Danni actually found the poor kitten purring at her doorstep a while ago. She was just under three months old and clearly needed help, she couldn’t stop meowing.

Of course, Danni immediately took her inside to take care of her and to see if she was thirsty or hungry. After spending some time with the four-footer, it actually didn’t take long before the kind woman decided to keep the cat permanently. After all, the kitten was looking for a warm, forever home and Danni definitely didn’t mind the company.

Even though Garlic Bread is one affectionate cat, she’s also a very, very mischievous and adventurous one. In fact, she just loves discovering every little area in Danni’s apartment and will try to find new favorite hiding spots.

“She is such a brat and will do things to spite you but then with the same breath she will climb into your lap and purr with her ferocious purr,” the woman said to The Dodo. “You can’t even be mad at her.”

One day, the woman discovered a hole in one of the sofa cushions.

When she decided to take the covers off to clean them, Danni immediately spotted a 3-inch long hole. Of course, there was only one possible culprit, but somewhat mysteriously, she couldn’t find the feline. Knowing that Garlic Bread loved to hide around, she didn’t really give it a lot of thought and went on with the rest of her chores in the house.

After a little while, Danni thought it was odd that she hadn’t seen Garlic Bread in a couple of hours. She could always hear her, however, which is why she wasn’t really worried. However, when she decided to investigate where the sounds were coming from, she had an idea where the mischievous four-footer was hiding.

“I could hear her meowing but I just thought she was at the door hunting flies so I kept doing laundry,” she said. “It wasn’t until I went to dress the cushions again that I noticed her.”

Somehow, Garlic Bread managed to get stuck inside the couch as she fell through the hole she chewed.

The adorable feline was peeking through the hole and seemed a bit embarrassed that she couldn’t get out of the hole she actually created.

“I didn’t think it was big enough for her to get in, but she never ceases to amaze me,” Danni said.

After a little while, she realized that Garlic Bread couldn’t get out on her own and decided to give her a hand by making the hole in the couch even larger.

“I actually had to use kitchen scissors to cut her out. You know, for proper couch birthing.”

Even though Garlic Bread could finally get out now, the poor cat definitely was a bit reluctant to get out of her cozy spot. Who knew that playing around inside of a couch was actually so much fun?

“She has this special chirp that she makes when talking to you so she was definitely pleased with herself and was going to fight me on getting out,” the cat owner concluded.

One thing is for sure: it’s never boring when you have this mischievous cat around!
