Meet Iggy, the cat with a cat-shaped face marking who’s taking the internet by storm

What’s better than a cat? Two cats. Now, do you know what’s even cuter? A two-in-one cat!

That’s right, you read that correctly. As cats come in various shapes and sizes, and many of them feature unique markings on their fur that make them unforgettable, there are some that can steal your heart in just a second.

One of those cats is Iggy, the cat that bears a marking that looks like a tiny version of him.

Twitter user @TOKAITRICK_bot spotted a kitty that looked different from any other cat he had met so far. The little feline had a funny marking on its snout. It looked like a black spot at first, but, when the guy went closer to the cat, he realized it was actually in the shape of a cat.

@TOKAITRICK_bot got pictures and a short clip of the cat, which was not alone, but had a few companions with him, and posted them on social media so that the little fluffball would get the recognition it deserved.

On Imgur, the short clip of the cat has been viewed by more than 300k people, while it has been upvoted more than 2k times.

“The greatest thing I’ve ever seen!” someone wrote while someone else commented: “I wish I had a kitty on my nose.”

The person who found the cat-ception kitty, eventually decided to adopt it and, as they posted on their Twitter account: the cat’s name is Iggy, it’s got a new home now, and it’s very happy with its new family. Honestly, the cat does look happy in the new home.

“Thank you very much!” read the text accompanying this picture, as the user replied to another tweet regarding the cat. “His name is Iggy. He is very fine.”

In another post, the user felt the need to clarify that the cat was now a family pet, while more info was given about the cat, like the fact that it’s 3 years old and it’s a Japanese cat.

Iggy’s new best friend also tracked the unique cat’s dad.

In another post, they share a short clip of the black-and-white cat that bears a snout marking as well, while it doesn’t look like a cat as Iggy’s marking. They explain that his name is Yoshikage, Iggy’s father, and that they have been trying to approach him for the last three years. The user also points out the fact that this cat has no ears- obviously stray life has taken a toll on him.

As cute as Iggy might be, he is definitely not the only cat out there that bears a cat marking on his fur.

Remember this kitty that has her shadow tattoed on her back and blew everyone’s minds when it first appeared.

Of course, there are many other markings that cats have on their fur and vary from more ordinary ones, like dots, to more elaborate and distinct ones like hearts, exclamation marks, mustaches or swirls.

Whatever the markings they bear, cats are adorable anyway and people love them whatever they may look like. Of course, there are some that catch the eye or attract attention mare than others, but at the end of the day, they’re all kitties!
