You will need:

  • 1 lb ground beef of your choice
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped or minced
  • A 1 oz packet taco seasoning
  • 10.5 oz tinned cheddar cheese soup
  • 30 oz hashbrowns, cut or shredded into smaller pieces
  • 2 cups taco style cheese, grated

Set your ingredients out on your kitchen counter, then grab all the equipment for the job: your slow cooker, a wooden spatula, a frying pan, a large bowl, and some oil.

Cooking instructions:

1. Brown your ground beef with garlic

Heat up your pan on medium with a splash of oil and add the ground beef and garlic. Chop the beef with a wooden spatula and mix well. When the meat is fully browned, take it off the heat and drain the oil.

2. Mix your ingredients

If your crockpot is oven-safe, you might want to place in your broiler on high heat to brown your cheese. 90 seconds should do it.
