Bulldogs and chihuahuas are very different kinds of dogs. When the bulldog in this video welcomed a new family member, he had no idea just how much of a headache it would be for him!

Any older sibling can relate to the bulldog in this video. When you were kids, there were times when you just wanted to take a nap, but your younger brother or sister had so much energy that they wouldn’t leave you alone.

The tiny chihuahua kept on pulling the bulldog’s tail, telling him to come play. The bulldog just looked down at the chihuahua with annoyance in his eyes.

The bulldog tried pulling his tail out of reach from the chihuahua.

But the chihuahua kept on pestering the bulldog, running right up to his face.

Eventually, the bulldog tried to swipe the chihuahua away. It worked, momentarily.

The bulldog, thinking that the chihuahua was going to occupy himself, lay down to relax. But then he heard the jingling of the chihuahua’s collar and saw the tiny dog run back up.

This time, the puppy sniffed around the bulldog’s legs before reaching for the tail again.

Before the chihuahua could pull on the tail, the bulldog leaped up to push the chihuahua away.

The chihuahua stayed close and then tried to kiss the bulldog, hoping that a loving approach would be more effective than teasing.

Eventually, the bulldog just resigned himself to laying down while the chihuahua bothered him. But then the chihuahua got even more annoying.

The tiny puppy tried to climb the bulldog like he was some kind of mountain, with the bulldog’s face as the starting point.

The bulldog just flicked the chihuahua off. Then the bulldog lightly grasped the chihuahua’s leg in his mouth. He wasn’t hurting the chihuahua, just attempting to keep him still.

Soon, the chihuahua broke free and attempted to bite at the bulldog’s tail once more.

After that, the chihuahua attempted to play with the bulldog’s face again.

The video cut out there. Luckily, it appeared on YouTube, where it soon went viral. In fact, in less than a year, the video has managed to gain over 20 million views. It also has more than 178,000 likes and 11,000 comments. People have been saying things like this:

Pretty soon, the bulldog and the chihuahua learned to get along with each other better.

The bulldog knew that the little one had a lot of energy because he was a puppy. While the chihuahua would always have more energy, the little dog would soon learn that the bulldog wouldn’t want to play as often as he did.

Bulldogs and Chihuahuas can make surprisingly good dog siblings.

Both breeds of dog are friendly creatures, especially to their family members and to kids. Although bulldogs tend to be much more friendly to strangers than chihuahuas.

The major differences between the two types of dog, apart from size, are that chihuahuas are much more intelligent than bulldogs and that bulldogs are much lower energy animals, as this video proves!
