10+ people who thought they were being clever but it's the other way around

Being intelligent is a gift and to see smart people imparting their knowledge to other people with kindness and respect is something to be appreciated.

However, it’s saddening that there are people who claim that they are smarter than others to the point that they disrespect them.

Check these 12 photos if you want to read some of them. Some of these are irritating while there are also ones that are funny. All of these are from The ‘I Am Very Smart’ Reddit community. Now I know why lots of people follow their subreddit.

1. Apparently, he was mad.

This person really believed that bats are not mammals, not to mention that he was also so mad about it.

The truth is bats are mammals. He better check it on Google.

2. “LOL”

When he said that he hates abbreviations but he used “LOL”. I hope he was just joking but it looks like he was not.

3. He hates the humor.

Some people just don’t want humor just like this person who took this meme as “metaphysically not funny”. Do you agree with him?

4. Spreading Lies

Making mistakes is part of life. We just need to own up to the mistakes that we did and make sure that we would not do them again.

This person right here did the other way around when he made a mistake at school. Instead, he made up a story to cover up his mistakes. Too bad, one of his classmates refuted his claims.

Hopefully, he would learn from this another mistake that he did.

5. A Real Clown

This person wanted to correct someone but it looks like he went a little overboard. Honestly, most of the things that he said don’t make sense at all.

6. Brooch vs. Broach

This guy wanted to correct the spelling of “brooch” even though it’s already correct. I just hope he checked the dictionary first before he commented on this Facebook post.

7. “An IQ of 136”

We all have different preferences when it comes to TV shows. It’s okay if you don’t prefer someone’s favorite. That’s why it’s so annoying to see how this person criticize someone just because she loves “The Office”.

I don’t know if he was serious when said “just trying to help”.

8. Better than a scientist?

Okay, I get it. This person wanted to look smart. But to claim that he’s better than a scientist? That’s horrible. It’s like he was invalidating the hard work and efforts a scientist exerts to do his job well.

9. You better check yours first.

They said that we should look at ourselves first before we judge other people.

Sadly, this guy was condemning those people who “do not have enough knowledge to spell correctly”. But when he posted this message, he also used ‘than’ instead of ‘then’.

10. Don’t do it again.

If this person wants to find the right one, he shouldn’t compose a message like this again, ever. It’s because his “high-level English” is not easy to understand.

11. IQ Test

IQ tests are good to gauge our intelligence. But to brag about it doesn’t look right at all – especially if it’s just from an unreliable website.

12. Huh?

So saying “huh” is now “extremely rude”? The roundhouse kick sounds scary, though.
