Couple happily adopts 3 brothers so they can grow up in a loving home together

When it comes to the subject of family planning, it’s always an interesting and insightful conversation.

You’ll learn that there are numerous, equally understandable, and respectable angles: some want only one child, others want none, while some prefer large families and plan for three or more kids.

Then you have individuals and couples who believe adoption is for the best – for themselves and the children.

When Lena and KC married, they knew they wanted to start a family.

They didn’t realize their dream of having children wasn’t too far off. At an event sponsored by Children’s Friend, a non-profit child welfare organization, they couldn’t take their eyes off a photo of a little boy named Joey.

Event organizers and the Children’s Friend team couldn’t resist mentioning that they seemed like a good fit for the child.

The couple decided to adopt two-year-old Joey.

But they didn’t stop there. With the capacity to care for and raise a child well, they knew they wanted to do more.

This included adopting Joey’s brothers, two-year-old Noah and one-year-old Logan, so they could all be together.

At first, KC and Lena planned on adopting only Joey and Noah.

Logan was living with a foster family by that time, but when those plans fell through, the couple decided it was the best move to adopt him as well.

The couple felt that it was important for the boys to stay together – something experts strongly agree on.

KC stated how it would be healthy for the boys to be together when they were at the right age to have all their questions answered.

If that’s not a strong sign of a solid mother, then we don’t know what is.

Their genuine concern for their welfare and the actions that followed prove just how much nicer life would be for the brothers.

Veronica Listerlund, director of adoption at Children’s Friend, confirms that this was an incredible move.

She’s confident that the boys are in good hands, adding that the couple is flexible and fully understands what the kids need.

More than shelter, food, clothing, and an overall healthy environment to grow in, the couple also knows and upholds the value of strong sibling relationships and their long-term impacts.

The boys adorably get playful with their mommies’ names, too.

KC is “mama” while Lena is “mommy,” but the boys occasionally say “mommy-ma.”

They clearly enjoy the life they have with their mamas. In fact, during the adoption ceremony, each of them even had toy gavels so they could bang along with the judge.

Now that everything’s settled, the family can dream bigger.

KC says they’re looking forward to experiencing priceless moments together: starting grade school, participating in sports, and many other fun activities for the boys.
