Dance is one of the greatest parts of our history. It’s a part of life that has been passed around from generation to generation.

It’s always a delight to see professional dancers. They are called that for a reason, after all- they are exceptionally good at it!

Many are those dancers who can nail a routine as planned, but few are those amazing ones who can put on a show by just improvising dance steps.

This dancing couple just did that and brought the bacon home!

Two highly-skilled dancers are about to set the floor on fire!

The unique thrills, heart-pounding excitement, and fears of performing live in dance competitions are no strangers to these two professional dancers, Sean McKeever and Jessica Cox.

They were eyeing the win at the 2015 Capital Swing event in Sacramento, California.

Each year for nearly three decades now, the Capital Swing Convention has been bringing dancers of all ages and abilities together.

The events are open to everyone, from novices and junior dancers right up to all-star champions. Sean and Jessica decided not only to join- but to win.

And so they did!

They won 1st place! A video of their amazing performance was uploaded on YouTube and it’s already been viewed 7.2 million times since then.

There’s no arguing why they bagged 1st place!

When their names were called to go to the center stage, the two were both smiling and gave each other a warm hug before even starting their routine.

Seconds after, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ started rolling and so did they.

Mixing the elegance of ballroom dancing with swing and some impromptu street dance grooves, Sean and Jessica definitely made an extraordinary routine!

The duo immediately set the fire blazing on the dance floor with their slick moves and grooves.

They executed their twist and turns at high speed while maintaining their posture. They were able to keep elegance and swiftness together throughout their routine.

The funky music continued and so did their moves. Their jelly-like hips and legs shook, wiggled, and grooved to the beat and it’s mind-blowing.

To call their performance awesome is an understatement!

One of the probable things that set them apart from the other contestants was their smiles.

The dancing couple was smiling throughout their performance. They looked so happy with what they were doing.

They’re just enjoying the moment and we would all agree that “happiness” can sometimes become a huge factor in gaining “success.”

Funny because their positive aura seemed to have crawled down to their competitors.

The other dancers on the sideline even ended up cheering for them.

Just by the looks of it, we all know who the winners are.

They received a heartwarming standing ovation from the crowd and from the other dancers.

They ended their performance by hugging each other tightly and when they ran back to their seats, they received a couple of high-fives and some “great job” gestures from the other dancers.

We’re not to discredit the other equally-talented dancers that day, it’s just that Sean and Jessica totally stole the show.

Their improvised moves were executed with so much energy, precision, and timing, and that’s hard to maintain while performing live in front of a huge crowd.

Sean and Jessica were then hailed the 2015 1st place Champion Strictly Swing Division.
