Couple shows off their silky smooth dance moves and creates absolute magic on the floor

Charlie Womble and Jackie McGee have been dancing, competing, and teaching for almost forty years. They’ve become household names in the world of dance.

They once even had twelve consecutive years competing in 300 dance competitions undefeated.

The National Shag Dance championship trophy was even called the Charlie and Jackie in their honor. That’s how good they were!

If you’ve seen them dance, you’ll believe it. Even at their age, they can still put many younger dancers to shame on that dance floor.

Charlie and Jackie are very dedicated to promoting and preserving jazz era dances.

In this video, they dance to “Be myself again” by Eric Benet.

The audience couldn’t help get tingles and give cheers in anticipation of these two.

They can’t wait to watch these legends perform!

Imagine having grandparents like these!

They exude class without looking stiff and boring. They move so smoothly on the floor. With over two decades of experience, their feet move so precisely.

They picked a great song and they are doing it justice. It makes you think of a lazy day with your lover where nothing else matters but your time together. So why not dance? The lyrics seem to tell a story.

And just to make their point, Charlie and Jackie show us a little quick shuffle with their feet for the audience to appreciate. Just another day on the dance floor.

Online viewers also cannot get enough,

“Love to watch the easy rhythm and style of this marvelous couple! So easy to watch. Thanks for posting!”

With all of today’s modern pop and disco dancing and jumping in clubs, it’s refreshing to see these dances for a change. They don’t need liquor or alcohol to get them to move. Years of practice and skill have made it nearly effortless. Maybe it’s time to learn some moves from Womble and McGee.

But Charlie is just getting warmed up. He steps across and spins a few times and does a little pose for the cheering crowd.

Jackie will not let herself be beaten. She does her own spins with the grace and class only a woman like her can pull off. Well… Charlie won’t have any nonsense.

He does an actual split! He splits!

Even Jackie couldn’t help but smile with the crowd’s reaction. Splits from a man at his age?!

“I feel the roll of thunder in my bones
I hold my head up high everywhere that I go
And the gift of life I truly understand
And I can be myself again”

Charlie was not yet content. With the song about to end, he goes ahead and does another split! What a show! Alright, we get it. These two really are the legends of Swing.
