Couple takes ‘Stand By Me’ to new levels with sweetest dance
Every day, as normal human beings, we usually feel different types of emotions. May it be happiness, anger, sorrow, frustrations, depression, anxiety, fear, loneliness, excitement, and many more.
There’s no better way of expressing what we are currently feeling other than exhaling them out.
We can sing our hearts and lungs out, draw something that depicts our current emotion, paint on a large canvass to vent our frustrations, put on our headset and listen to music (that fits our emotion), and much more. All we need is an outlet where we can release it all.
As the famous lines say, “Action speaks louder than words” and “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
This dance-duo danced with so much passion and emotion.
Joseph Tsosh and Alisa Tsitseronova are just two of the many dancers at The Urban Dance Camp or UDC. In a video shared on the internet, they choreographed a beautiful set of dance steps to Ben E King’s “Stand by Me”.
Their short dance performance was composed of gentle yet creative steps. They were too sweet but there’s no telling if they’re a real-life couple or just dance studio classmates.
We’ve never seen such dance steps, they made it so passionate yet playful. It was like Joseph’s chasing Alisa during their dance routine. They simply took it to a different level and they’re so fun to watch.
The Urban Dance Camp is a “go-to” place!
The UDC is considered as the world’s leading dance intensive education. Their annual international workshop runs in a span of 3 weeks and it also offers more than 77 classes for intermediate and advanced dancers.
It’s a sanctuary for a lot of dancers. They have already been visited by dance legends, YouTube stars, and international choreographers who come from all over the world like Europe, Asia, and America. They have participants coming from more than 40 countries each year.
All these say a lot about the institution that they have built in the world of dancing. Welcome are those who aspire to become a dancer and even those who are already professional dancers with plans of broadening their skills even more.
A dance number shouldn’t be this perfect, don’t you think?
Each step that Josh and Alisa made was full of passion but still fun to watch. In the video, they tried to focus ultimately on dancing but the latter simply couldn’t as she flashed a couple of smiles during their dance number.
They did a couple of playful steps like some sort of “run and chase”.
They flourished in their awesome dance choreography, there were even times that they looked a bit afloat off the dance floor.
They ended their performance with a bow and gave each other a tight hug.
The viewers from the background (who were most likely their dance classmates) showered them with cheers and rounds of applause.
This dance of Josh and Alisa also bagged them Performance of the Year in 2017 from UDC.
Do we even need to wonder why they won? It’s a well-deserved award, and just watching the video alone is enough to convince not just the dance camp itself but also those who judged their performance (if there were any).
Check their official website, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram if you want to keep yourself updated with announcements and events at the Urban Dance Camp.
