Cow moms also might not feel connected to their young until they are born. Dr. Joseph Stookey, a professor at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon who studies large animal clinical science has said,

β€œThe cow is most receptive to wanting a newborn calf when she gives birth,”

When this motorcyclist from Millbrook, Ontario stopped by a local farm to record the beautiful cattle in the field he found a very unusual sight.

“Thank MOO Mr. Motorcyclist!”

The man later went to tell the owners of the farm what happened so they could check on Flo and her calf.
