Crane operator decides to prank sunbathing stranger by casting a shadow on him

Pulling a prank on someone you know is definitely fun, but sometimes, pulling pranks on complete strangers can be just as hilarious too. Especially in these very troubling and uncertain times, itâs important to keep our spirits up and keep laughing throughout the day.

This crane operator will definitely agree because his funny antics annoying a sunbather have gone viral on Twitter. Itâs an absolutely harmless prank and no one gets hurt, and itâs also one you definitely donât see every day. This poor sunbather mustâve been absolutely baffled that this happened to him.
When a crane operator and a colleague of his were taking a break, they suddenly spotted a man sunbathing on the grass.
They figured it would be fun to joke around with him by casting the craneâs shadow on him.

This is an absolutely epic troll and the two men canât stop laughing. We hear them cracking jokes and trying to get the shadow to move directly between the man and the sunlight he clearly wants. Luckily, a video was recorded of the prank for the entire internet to see.
When the man decided to move away after the shadow was cast on him, the crane operator followed.

Itâs a hilarious cat and mouse game that won over the entire internet. Even though the footage has been circulating for a little while, it only went viral recently. At the time of writing, the most popular video out there has over 3,4 million views and almost a hundred thousand likes!
âAbsolutely 100% can get behind this level of commitment to pettiness,â the video poster tweeted.
The footage was taken during quarantine times, and as we all know, people tend to get bored during the quarantine period. However, weâre pretty sure that everyone involved here â including the sunbather â will definitely remember this day as one of their highlights of quarantine.
After the 2-minute-video was posted, thousands of comments were posted.
Most of those comments were quite positive, noting that itâs important to keep smiling and that this prank is miles better than most other internet pranks out there because no one gets hurt. Of course, there were also some Twitter-users who were criticizing the crane operators, although most of them can agree that everything was done in good fun. Some people even praised the operator for his precise work!

âIf I was the guy sunbathing I would find this hilarious, the simplicity of it. So much fun. Youâve got to see the enjoyment in it. Itâs an elite game of cat and mouse. I could be there on the ground for ages playing this game.â

âCome on, you gotta admit it, itâs (lauging emoji). Sometimes you just gotta see life from the other side. Of cause itâs not much fun for the other guy, but no harm done and youâve gotta appreciate how much joy it gave the crane operator. Let yourself share in it too.â

âIâm laughing way more than I should at this. But, when youâre that high up all on your own, then what a better way to while away the hours?!â

âThat operator has some serious skills. He edged it over so smoothly.â
