Have you ever had a family dance party?

According to Learning Resources, a dance party for the whole family is a good way to take a break. This form of “brain break” is effective in helping kids—and even grown-ups—be free from the stress and exhaustion of school and work.

Dancing with the rest of the family provides a chance not only to reconnect but to recharge. The continuous cycle of work and school can be very taxing, and everybody deserves to find a form of release from all the stress.

What would be the best way to fight burnout than to dance freely with your family, right?

The music we play when we want to do some happy dancing with the fam is a good source of stimulation for our brains. It also leads us to move more and therefore, get more exercise after a long day of sitting at school or in the office.

Dancing to lively music also helps us be more creative in expressing ourselves. It makes it easier to shimmy the stress away and it gives us a channel where we can put our good energy into. It is a happy moment for the family as well, making it a valuable core memory that we all need to look back to.

In the video uploaded on TikTok, a family of four can be seen as they position themselves in front of the camera for their family dance. Everyone is lined up and ready to groove when a furry member of the family went in the middle to steal the spotlight.

The pup is determined not to be left behind and walked confidently in front of everyone. He sure is a show-stopper!

Each member of the family goes in the middle to do their signature move, and the little doggo refuses to be left out.

The pup won’t let the little girl dance and do her solo. Now, that’s not a good boy. The dog even got the girl down on the floor as he tried to drag her hair and shirt.

So, what about the other family members in the dance? Oops, they act as if they don’t see anything. Hmm, are we finally seeing who is the real boss here?

Eventually, the little diva finally let the girl dance.

She was busting cute moves and seemed to have good fun as she dances with a smile in front of the camera. What an adorable girl!

As for the tiny spotlight stealer, well, he keeps on walking around and not giving everyone a moment of their own. He is comfortable in his space and we all know he does not mean any harm. He is just being his lovable self!
