Dad soothing fussy baby asks Husky to make her stop crying and it delivers
Babies are adorable human beings that people love to hug and cuddle. They’re so soft and cute that you almost want to envelop them in a protective bubble.
But babies aren’t always quiet.
Babies have difficulty processing their emotions and voicing out their thoughts. Hence, they cry to communicate their needs and wants.
As much as parents love their babies, it can be challenging whenever they are crying.
The sound of a baby’s cry is not a pleasant one. It’s high, shrilling, and deafening. It’s also a challenge to make them stop because you don’t know what they want.
“An inconsolable little one can also make a new parent feel powerless.” Crystal Clancy said in an interview with Parents.com.
Clancy is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She was able to deduce that a wailing baby causes stress on parents, especially women because they don’t feel in control.
Luckily, you can get better at understanding your baby over time.
According to Parents.com, there are a couple of ways to make a baby stop crying.
The first is to try the Shoosh-Bounce. This is the most common form of hushing a wailing baby.
The act of rocking a baby triggers a calming response in their brain which helps in alleviating their emotions.
Turn off the lights.
Harsh lights and noises can overstimulate a baby’s brain. Try rocking them in a dark room with a small light on to help call them down. It’s totally fine since babies are used to the quietness and closeness of the womb.
The last tip? Play a song.
Lullabies help in calming the nervous system of the baby. It doesn’t have to be a lullaby, you can play any song that your baby likes. It just needs to be soothing.
That’s why this dad thought of using music–err I mean howling as a way to calm down his crying baby.
Abby is a beautiful baby who was in distress. Her dad wanted to calm her down and thought of asking his best friend, Sophie, the husky to help with his plan.
Sophie has a special way with Abby and she wants nothing more than to help her.
Abby’s dad knows that music can help alleviate Sophie’s cries, but it wouldn’t be him who would be singing.
Sophie serenades Abby
Filming the important plan, Abby’s dad turned the camera on a wailing Abby and a concerned Sophie.
“Sophie! Help Abby stop crying. Can you howl for Abby?” Abby’s Dad said in the video.
Instantly, Sophie started howling. She put her good voice to use and it was indeed a success! Abby stopped crying. She was too mesmerized at Sophie’s soulful voice.
However, she started to cry again.
Scampering in panic, Sophie howled even louder. She was giving her best for Abby.
Thankfully, Sophie stopped wailing and turned her attention to Sophie who was doing her best to calm her down.
Eventually, Sophie began contemplating.
There wasn’t a reason for her to be sad. She has a loving family and Sophie! Satisfied with her realizations, she ceased her tears and began admiring Sophie’s voice.
It was no doubt the best way to calm a baby.
