The pandemic has caused many changes in our lives. Sadly, it also restricted us from some of the things that we used to love.

To be safe, many of us just choose to spend most of our time at home.

Although it’s just for our safety, we can’t deny that we miss doing the things that we often do before.

This includes going to the coffee shop.

Lots of people are probably choosing to just drink coffee at home or rely on coffee delivery.

It’s actually the perfect thing to do as we don’t know where and when we may acquire the COVID-19 virus. So, it’s always better to choose the safer options.

This dad thought of a way to still visit a cozy coffee shop even without going out of the house.

How? Well, Ed Astrid built his own coffee shop in their backyard! It may sound impossible but Ed made it possible.

The photos of his creation have gone viral. Thanks to his daughter Julianna who posted them on Twitter.

“Did my dad really build a coffee shop in the backyard by himself within 3 months? Absolutely,” Julianna tweeted.

That tweet alone has received more than 290,000 likes on the said social media platform.

Julianna is a proud daughter.

She also shared some great things about her dad. According to her, Ed works full-time as a contractor.

Despite that, he was still successful in building the coffee shop which was his side project.

Another amazing thing is Ed just used old materials for this project.

“He took pieces that were “trash” from old jobs (the doors, materials to build the structure, the front window etc) & repurposed them to create his coffee shop.”

Ed’s daughter also showed photos of how he started from scratch.

His surreal vision became possible after 3 months and that’s really amazing. It’s all because of his hard work and skills.

That’s why he really deserves all the appreciation that he has been receiving especially from his daughter.

Ed is happy that his work has reached many people.

Julianna shared the priceless reaction of his dad when he saw his story on the news. And all of the acknowledgment that he has been getting makes him so happy.

“He was ECSTATIC to say the least – he is so happy & so grateful. He said ‘this makes him excited about building again’ he says thanks for the love,” Julliana said.

It’s also homey as it has entertainment features. You can really spend your time here comfortably.
