People really love an Internet challenge, whether it involves ice buckets, dangerous pranks involving blindfolding oneself while going about the day (thanks Bird Box!), or trying to one-up a rival in a dance competition.

The latest phenomenon? The Git Up Challenge. It’s been taken on by everyone from ER doctors to fire departments to regular folk just wanting to strut their stuff for their closest billion or so friends.

The challenge is inspired by country-hip hop artist Blanco Brown’s song “The Git Up,” and has gone viral on social media – especially Tik Tok – with millions of users taking part.

That’s right – millions. People just won’t stop.

The latest video to go viral? A dad named Johnny who danced with his two daughters and their friend in an attempt to surprise his wife Haley.

And once he posted the video to YouTube and received thousands of views, Haley chimed in via the comment section:

“What i loved most about my husband doing this with our daughters and their friend is that this was a surprise for me !!!! I had a pretty bad week and i came home to a clean house and a performance and none of them knew the dance before this day they had practiced it in the hours that i was gone so this video was a one take and i think they all did great considering this was the first day they had practiced it !!”

Since it was uploaded on July 11, 2019, it’s been viewed over 761,000 times!

And while we don’t quite get the appeal of filming yourself and putting it online, we can’t deny that it’s a sweet video.

It begins with lots of giggles as the music starts and dad begins lip-synching while the girls gather their nerves in the background.

Considering how nervous they look, it’s surprising when they nail their moves. It’s clear these young women have done this before.

There were lots of positive comments on the video:

“That’s what being a father is all about great job guys,” said one person.

Even people who wanted to leave a snarky comment couldn’t bring themselves to do it:

“I wanted to say something mean, like they had zero rythm, but………. I cant do it at all, they put effort into it, had fun and spent time together.”

For lots of fans, this was their favorite entry into the challenge so far.

“I’ve been watching [these] challenges a lot This one is by far my favorite one Thank you So much for sharing [your] family fun.”

And fans made sure Haley knew she had to be pretty special to warrant such a surprise.

“Absolutely loved this! The girls were very good, especially for 1st recording! Your husband is obviously a great dad in that your daughters and friend were willing to do this with him! He must have a good relationship with them! And you must be pretty special that they all did this for you! God bless your precious family, and friend! Next video, you need to be in also! Life’s short, enjoy every minute!”

Haley’s parting comment?

“Side note: Hubby got major points from me.”
