Sure, every baby is cute. But this baby always wakes up with a smile on her face. And her videos are making people all over the world happy.

Dan and Mike adopted Emily Ruth one spring, and they have been over the moon ever since. They had waited years for their own child. And both the parents can agree that it was well worth the wait.

As soon as the fathers brought Emily Ruth home, they started documenting her life.

And people all across the globe started to love the little girl. But one video update really struck a chord with viewers online.

The video began with one of Emily Ruth’s fathers opening the door to her nursery. Inside, baby Emily Ruth was sleeping away soundly.

The father walked up to the newborn and announced that she was the world’s happiest baby.

The dad looked down at his baby and said, “Good morning, princess.” The baby smiled back up at him, waking slowly.

The baby’s dad kept on telling Emily Ruth good morning, and the baby gained more energy. She started smiling more and more, letting her dad know that she was now wide awake and ready to have a fun-filled day.

“We can go sit and read the newspaper together now?” asked the father.

The baby looked back with enthusiasm. Clearly, reading the newspaper with dad was one of her favorite activities.

The dad then uploaded this footage to YouTube, where it soon went viral. To date, the video has gained over 1.1 million views. It also has more than 26,000 likes.

As Emily Ruth kept on growing up, her parents kept on documenting her adventures.

Perhaps the biggest thing to happen to Emily Ruth since then was when she got a dog. The video of the then one-year-old Emily Ruth playing with her new best friend is also incredibly heartwarming.

Emily Ruth soon grew into a friendly little girl. At 18 months, she was desperate to say “hi” and hand out candy to all of the other kids that came to their door on Halloween.

Emily Ruth is now a toddler. She’s just as smiley as when she was a newborn. And her parents are always amazed at just how much joy she brings into people’s lives.

Anyone can tell from these videos that Emily Ruth is so lucky to have Dan and Mike as her parents. Thanks to them, she is getting a wholesome and happy childhood. And in turn, she spreads the joy to everyone she meets.

Sadly, some people still disapprove of gay couples adopting kids. Kids like Emily Ruth show why this is such a bad attitude to have. Mike and Dan are clearly two committed and nurturing parents. Emily Ruth loves them both with all her heart. All that gay adoption does is give more children like Emily Ruth the chance to find a happy and loving family.
