There is one fact that is almost always true in life, dogs love to go on walks. They can’t help themselves, as soon as the prospect of stepping outside is brought up, they can think of little else.

It’s almost like they have a one-track mind when it comes to going out to get some fresh air and sun.

One dog, in particular, has taken his love of going outside to an extreme.

For people and dogs, the opportunity to relax means different things.

For humans, the idea of coming home after work or spending a long weekend on the couch is the ultimate in relaxation. For dogs, relaxing is a totally different animal, literally.

You see, dogs, or most dogs, love going outside.

All dogs have to hear is the jingling of their leash or a step toward the door.

As soon as the idea of going outside comes up, the dog is off moving back and forth excitedly, or sitting in apt attention, waiting for their owner’s next move.

The reason for their excitement is understandable, and it all comes down to genetics.

Related to wolves, dogs have a natural love of and a desire to be outside.

In a dog’s mind, going outside is simply them fulfilling their inbuilt desire to be in nature, foraging around for food.

According to Wag!:

“Dogs have a natural enthusiasm for the great outdoors. It’s the environment in which the majority of dogs are most comfortable in and it’s where they love to spend as much time as possible. Yes, they do like to be by your side and curled up in front of a blazing fire, but say walkies and they’ll have forgotten that snug cozy spot in less than a second.”

Falcon loves going outside more than anything else.

A Great Dane named Falcon has taken his excitement for going out for a walk to the next level.

His dad, Matt, doesn’t even have to be in the process of going out the door before Falcon’s enthusiasm shows itself. Falcon’s antics in a video show just how extreme he can get when it comes to his favorite thing.

The fun is about to begin

In the video, Matt is shown coming down the stairs of the home he shares with Falcon. But Falcon knew exactly what was going on.

Not only was Matt coming down the stairs, but he had changed his pants before doing so. Of course, to Falcon this meant one thing.

Falcon lets his excitement show

As Matt nears the bottom of the stairs, Falcon literally leaps for joy. It’s amazing how high he gets and all because of his excitement for going for a walk.

All Matt can do is stand by as Falcon goes through his routine.

Of course, the dup can’t go anywhere until Falcon Calms down. But for the moment, his excitement results in a hilarious and impressive display of physical ability.
