The internet is filled with challenges of all shapes and sizes, and the Git Up Challenge is one of the latest big crazes to hit the digital world. Inspired by the awesome country/hip-hop fusion track, ‘The Git Up’ by Blanco Brown, The Git Up Challenge is being taken on by countless people all over the globe, with inspiring and amazing results!

The Blanco Brown song cleverly mixes two very different musical genres together and has been a huge hit, getting millions of views on YouTube and millions more streams over on Spotify too.

In the music video for the song, we can see the artist busting out some fun, country-style moves with passers-by, students, and even senior citizens, and the song is all about letting loose and loving life.

Inspired by the moves of Blanco Brown, many other people have started taking on the Git Up Challenge, dancing around with their friends, family members, and even random strangers on the street, in grocery stores, at work, at school, and in many other unusual and out of the ordinary locations.

The challenge has quickly become a viral craze, with Blanco Brown himself even responding to it all and making a special video tutorial to guide people through the moves.

Well, one daddy-daughter duo decided to tackle the challenge together, with awesome results!

DJ Rhett and his adorable little girl, Meg, set up a camera and got ready to show the world what they could do.

Both of them are wearing cool country outfits throughout the clip, posing in their living room and feeling ready to let loose and strut their funky stuff.

They load up Blanco Brown’s track on the TV and away they go, busting out all the moves right there in the family home, moving together in perfect harmony and letting their inhibitions loose.

It’s a really charming and feel-good sort of clip, and we can’t help smiling and dancing along as we watch this loving papa and his talented little girl moving around the room together, simply having fun and living in the moment.

The clip only runs for two minutes, but it’s two minutes of pure, unbridled joy and it beautifully shows the loving bond a father can share with his little girl.
