There isn’t any connection stronger than love, particularly love for your family. Whatever form that family comes in, isn’t important. All that matters is the bond.

If you have a dog then you probably know that the dog isn’t just your pet. Instead, that dog is another member of the family. Thus, they get treated with the same love and respect as any other family member.

After all, it’s only right. Dogs are extremely loyal and will stick by our side until the end of time. Therefore, when we feel like going out for a walk, we bring our four-legged friends. Or if we had a bad day, we come home and tell them all about it.

In many ways, having a dog is just like having a child. For example, we feed, bathe, teach, comfort, and protect them. So it should come as no surprise that some people sing their little buddies to sleep. And let’s face it, dogs are very aware that they get special treatment!

Not long ago, a video on YouTube showed how one dog receives her special treatment in the form of a song. Though, it’s likely that this is just one of the many ways that she is spoiled.

Currently, the video has over 3 million views. In addition, it has over 134,000 ‘likes.’ Clearly, this video is something special. In it, a man sings a sweet lullaby to his adorable Pit Bull.

What makes this video even more precious is that the dog is part of a breed that many perceive as dangerous, vicious, and unpredictable. But this dog is far from that. In fact, pit bulls have gotten a pretty rotten reputation over the years. Unfortunately, it’s a long-held belief.

That is until you get a glimpse of this happy-go-lucky darling.

At the beginning of the video, “daddy” speaks to his little girl in a cutesy voice that immediately catches her attention.

“You need Daddy to sing to you for you to go to sleep, my little baby?”

The dog looks up at her daddy as if anxiously waiting for him to start. Though she’s in an open pen, she has a comfortable bed and a chewy toy. Clearly, she has a pretty nice set-up.

“My poor little baby,” he says. “Okay, it’s sleepy time.”

Daddy opens his mouth and starts to sing. And just as it’s sure to rain in spring, the biggest smile crosses his little girl’s face. Truly, she is in absolute bliss. She begins panting heavily as a woman can be heard giggling in the background.

As Daddy continues to sing, his little girl begins to lower her eyes. Before you know it, she smacks her gums and lays down on her bed. She opens and closes her eyes repeatedly as if not wanting to miss a note.

Eventually, she closes her eyes to sleep. But like clockwork, as soon as he stops singing, she opens her eyes as if to ask, why’d you stop?
