Everyone, meet Wiley – the cutie pie Dalmatian with a heart on his nose

We’re pretty sure Lexi Smith doesn’t mind being covered with dog hair.

After all, being covered with dog hair only means that you are very affectionate with your pets and that you spend lots of quality time with them.
Her best buddy, Wiley, is a very playful, affectionate, and silly Dalmatian.
Wiley is very special because he has a unique and beautiful heart-shaped marking on his nose!

But Lexi said that this wasn’t the reason why he chose Wiley.
Lexi, from Colorado, went to Oklahoma to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day three years ago. There, he met a litter of 11 adorable Dalmatian puppies and 8 of those puppies were all boys.
While she saw the tiny heart marking, she didn’t really pay attention to it because she knew that the Dalmatian’s spots could change as they grow.

According to Smith, she talked to the breeder and asked for the personalities of the puppies. The breeder then described Wiley as a puppy who loved to snuggle, sleep, and eat.
Smith knew Wiley was the perfect puppy for her because they share so many things in common.
Wiley loved his new home. He could go to dog parks, playgrounds, and he absolutely loves hiking. He has so much energy that he needs to run and jump and just release his energy!

For Wiley’s heart-shaped spot, Smith didn’t really pay attention to it because she knew that her puppy was still very young and he could get new spots soon.
According to AKG:
“Just like no two people have the same fingerprints, no two Dalmatians have exactly the same pattern of spots.”
So it was impossible to know if little Wiley would keep his unique heart-shaped mark.

But as Wiley grows, his heart-shaped mark remained and has become more visible. People who see Wiley would immediately notice the beautiful mark and comment how adorable he is.
Wiley’s unique mark isn’t the only thing that people love about him.
He’s very approachable, and he’s such a happy pup. He would easily befriend anyone who approaches him, and he just loves the attention he’s getting.

As a loving fur mom, Lexi decided to create an Instagram account for her lovely pup. Now, Wiley already has 207K followers, and he’s very active on his social media accounts.
Wiley is now a superstar, and he welcomes all the love that people are giving him.
Ever since Wiley was small, he knew he was extra special, and he knows how to capture the hearts of people.
