Dentist is transforming teeth around the world and the before and after photos will make you smile
Dental care is a luxury in many parts of the world – including the U.S. That’s unfortunate since a lack of care can lead to poor physical AND mental health. But it’s simply too expensive for many people to invest in.
That’s the reason Brazilian dentist Felipe Rossi set up his non-profit dental charity, Por1sorriso.

Rossi wanted to offer his services for free to those around the world with no access at all to dental care. According to Por1sorrio’s website:
“…today, the institution operates mainly in extremely needy communities and with little access to assistance, such as riverside and indigenous populations, quilombolas, inhabitants of the northeastern hinterland, populated in conditions of poverty on the African continent and needy urban communities.”
From root canals and implants to simple cleanings, Rossi and his team frequently take 5-day trips to offer as many procedures as they can in a variety of locations throughout Africa as well as in Brazil. They are funded by sponsors, fundraisers, and other volunteers and the average trip costs $5,000 USD.
