As pet owners, one of our many duties is to train our pets to make sure they are raised with good behaviors. We have to teach them to not go to the bathroom in the house, not eat the furniture (only eat your food, please!), and be kind to anyone who may enter the house.

If they do one of those things, it is easy to get mad. You will probably want to yell at them and shame them. You might even want to wag your finger at them. Of course, if you find little “gifts” around the house all of a sudden, you are going to be grossed out and blame it on the dog.

However, dogs have a superpower. They happen to be super cute. And because of that, it is usually hard to stay mad at them for long.

I mean, can you imagine yelling at something so cute for more than five minutes? Sure, they chewed up your carpet, but then they flash those big eyes at you and wag their tail. They just seem so innocent, it might even feel like they are trying to apologize to you.

Unconditional love, right? Furry friends for life.

There is a super sweet compilation video that has been making the rounds on the Internet. It shows dogs’ different guilty reactions after doing something bad and it is absolutely adorable. At first, their owners are mad, but the pups clearly work hard to try and cover up their dirtied tracks.

In the video montage, one dog named Lilly is caught after tearing up a bunch of Christmas presents — and can we blame her? Everyone loves Christmas presents — children, parents and yep, even dogs — so it only makes sense. She just couldn’t wait any longer… She had to know what was inside.

Too bad that when she got caught, she could barely look her angry owner in the eye. Aw! She clearly knew she did something bad, she suffered enough, now let her open the rest of the presents!

The clip features another dog named Willow. Conveniently, when her dad planted a bunch of flowers, one went missing. Who could it be… Hm, let us guess.

As soon as the dad mentions that he’s looking for the “naughty girl,” Willow’s reaction completely gives herself away. She is guilty, but can she help it? Much like Christmas presents, who doesn’t love flowers?

Here’s a great idea, just play dead!

When a lot of these dogs were found guilty, they didn’t decide to fight or run away. Instead, they just dropped to the ground, rolled over, and played dead. Well wasn’t that a convenient trick for them to learn? Seems to really come in handy.

How can a parent get mad at their pooch when they are lying on the floor, completely giving up and playing dumb? “Sorry, can’t hear you! I’m dead right now!” Genius.
