Weak mama dog approaches crew of guys at bachelor party to get their assistance

When we talk about bachelor’s parties, what are the first things you think of?

Of course, women are at the top of the list. Then there’s other things we won’t mention here, for the sake of innocent eyes, of course.

But not all bachelor parties go down in infamy. In fact, some turn out to be pretty endearing.

This bachelor party story is melting hearts everywhere.

A group of men had gathered together to celebrate a friend’s last night of matrimonial freedom.

Little did they know, their idea of a bachelor’s party would change not only their lives but of 8 others too.

The groom and his pals were in for a surprise.

Mitchel Craddock, the groom, took his dad and he and his friends drove to Oneida, Tennessee to hang out in the woods.

Just “them boys” in the wilderness – that was Craddock’s idea of fun.

Their bachelor’s party was filled with hikes, biking on ATVs, camping, and a whole lot of cooking.

It was these activities that led Annie into their lives.

Craddock and his buddies were having breakfast when an unexpected guest arrived.

The men were enjoying their shares of coffee and bacon when they saw a hungry mama dog right outside their cabin.

The dog was sitting patiently and looking inside the house. The men suspected that she was lured by the smell of bacon.

According to Craddock and his interview with Good Morning America, Annie was “sniffing the bacon real good.”

They noticed that the dog was underfed. Ribs were sticking out from her sides and she looked dehydrated. They gave the dog some food and water.

They figured that maybe after she got her fill, she’d move on to where she was headed.

But she didn’t budge.

Instead, she stayed by the front of the house.

As the dog stayed with the group, they noticed that she was protective of a certain spot near their cabin.

Upon investigation, they found what looked like a rabbit hole. Then they saw one of her puppies sticking out.

The group dug through the hole.

They pulled the puppies out one by one.

In total, the stray mama dog has seven puppies. The men then proceeded to give them a good bath as every one of them was covered in fleas.

Then one thing led to another.

After giving them a bath, the men bought some supplies like shampoo, food, and other dog essentials.

“We didn’t even realize what we were doing when we did it because it was just, that’s what you do,” Brent Witters, one of the attendees, shared with KENS5. “You see a group of puppies and you rescue them.”

Eventually, it dawned on them t.

They just rescued eight dogs!

As if it was a match made in heaven, Craddock’s party was also eight men, including him.

We could imagine that they just all kind of shrugged when they realized what just happened.

Everyone got a dog.

They even took in Annie, who they named after Little Orphan Annie.

The best part about their impromptu adoption is that these dogs will always be nearby each other.

Brimmie was adopted by Craddock and his wife. Bear and Annie were adopted by his grandparents.

Little Knox, Gunner, Daisy, and Rosie were adopted by his groomsmen, and Finn was adopted by one of the groomsmen’s aunts.
