Dog the Bounty Hunter gets engaged to new girlfriend 10 months after losing his wife

Some may think that Dog the Bounty Hunter is moving on far too soon. But Dog and his new fiancee believe their relationship to be the result of divine intervention.

Most people in the USA know who Duane Chapman, better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, is. He’s been one of the most popular reality TV stars for almost 20 years.

Since the first episode of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s eponymous TV show, people have come to see that as well as being a tough guy with a hard job, he also has a big heart.

For most of his reality TV career, Dog the Bounty Hunter had been with his girlfriend/wife, Beth.

Beth and Dog were incredibly close, even becoming business partners together. During their relationship, Beth gave birth to two children, with Dog also adopting Beth’s child from a previous marriage.

However, in recent years, Beth was fighting throat and lung cancer. Dog was with her throughout the battle. But sadly, in June 2019, Beth passed away.

Dog was understandably devasted with the loss. However, he would find support and love with a friend who had been through a similar situation.

Shortly after Beth’s death, Dog left a voicemail for Bob Frane, a former friend of his. Bob’s wife, Francie, returned the call, telling Dog that Bob had passed away recently.

Upon learning of each other’s situations, Dog and Francie decided to meet up to console each other on their experiences. The two soon became close.

They were attracted to one another. At first, they resisted their temptations.

But eventually, they realized that both of their former spouses would want them to be happy. So they began dating.

Some people have said that Dog and Francie have moved on too quickly following their respective tragedies. But the couple has reported that most people have been supportive.

“The truth is that both of us have spent three years walking alongside our spouses sick, and we know that God brought us together, and that’s why we don’t believe that it’s too soon.” – Dog the Bounty Hunter.

The couple both agree that divine intervention has brought them together.

Dog and Francie are both Christians, and they believe that their relationship is just another example of God working in mysterious ways.

And in May 2020, the couple announced that they had taken their relationship to the next level. They had become engaged.

Since the coronavirus pandemic caused the USA to go on lockdown, Dog and Francie had been quarantining together. This only served to further convince the couple that they were ideal for each other.

It all happened when the couple sat down to dinner one night in Dog’s Colorado home. Dog had lit the room with candlelight.

“I think I had gone to pick up some food, and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit.” – Francie Frane.

Before they ate, Dog got down on one knee and explained how he didn’t want to spend a moment of his life without Francie.

Then he pulled out a ring box and asked her to marry him.

Of course, Francie said yes.

When the coronavirus restrictions are gone, the couple plans to have “the biggest wedding there’s ever been.”
