A lot of people will raise their eyebrows whenever they see cats and dogs living together, particularly rescued ones.

They think that their temperament and personalities don’t match and they’ll just end up fighting at home.

Raylan, a really loving dog, is proving all those people wrong. He’s helping his family take care of a bunch of rescue kittens until they are able to find their forever homes.

One likely reason why he sleeps next to the kittens is to make sure that they feel safe and comfortable. The majority of the kittens his parents rescue are either abandoned or abused. It’s one way for him to make them feel safe.

Whether it’s a single kitten or dozens of them, Raylan doesn’t mind. He’s willing to look after all the kittens inside their home.

He’s not just a loving dad. He’s also pretty proud of his kittens, particularly when they start to warm up to him and everyone in the house.

He likes to make sure that all the kittens are in good condition. He’ll inspect them closely and thoroughly just to be extra sure.
