This optical illusion claims to tell if you're a hopeless romantic or more practical type

Would you consider yourself passionate when it comes to romance?

People can have different approaches when it comes to the dynamics of romance. And more often than not, you’ll only realize what kind of partner you are only when you’re in a relationship.

But what if you can discover your perspectives just by looking at inkblots? Would you give it a try?

TikTok user @ItsMeFuzz provides a variety of content on the platform.

His content ranges from geography trivia, our psychological relationship with things, and some personality tests.

One of the tests he posted claimed that you can know your romantic profile just by looking at Rorschach-esque inkblots.

The optical illusion’s meaning was explained in a follow-clip he posted.

“If you actually saw the two cats first, this means you have a very strong passion for romance,” they shared in the TikTok video.

The symmetrical illustration indeed showed two cats sitting opposite each other with their tails curling up. And for the TikTok content creator, there’s more to it than just romance.

Those who saw the cat first, apparently, also have “a very strong connection with all your family members.”

But there is another figure in the optical illusion.

The cats’ ears can be seen as eyes, and the “heart” above the cats’ tails makes up the nose and the tails curve perfectly of a snout. If it’s a bloodhound or a beagle, it’s anyone’s guess. But for @ItsMeFuzz, it meant something more.

“If you ended up seeing the whole dog head first,” the TikTok star continued to explain, “you’re overall a very helpful person.” He added. “You’re a very good shoulder to cry on for a close friend,”

There are also those who refused the dictates of the image.

They claimed that they saw both figures at once which the TikTok content creator responded with a hilarious quip. He said that they are overachievers who need to take a step back and relax.

No matter what you do you’ll always see one before the other because that’s just how our vision works. Unless there’s a d0g-cat kind of species.

You take the reading or leave it.

This method, more commonly known as the Rorschach inkblot test was developed and first used in 1921. It peaked around the 1960s when psychologists used the test to determine a patient’s personality.

In the end, such testing was considered unreliable as norms and standards for the process were never established.

We can all agree, however, that it was fun to do.

The video also included a silhouette of a tree that was flanked by two animal heads. The TikTok content creator said that those who saw the tree first are logical people who don’t express themselves.

Meanwhile, those who saw the animals have set their standards high, and their curiosity lets them learn things faster than most people.

And just like the previous illustration, those who saw all of the figures at the same time are overachievers who need to chill.

What do you think about Rorschach activities like these?
