Stray dog crashes wedding and newlyweds decide to rescue and adopt him
Would you take home someone youâve just met?
This might be a question some would say âyesâ to and thatâs fair game. The question is much easier to answer if itâs in a context of a wedding.

A bride and groom did the same thing when someone crashed their wedding. They donât care if they just met him outside the church. All they know is heâs coming home with them.
Douglas Robert and TamĂris Muzini were celebrating the day they tied the knot.
The ceremony took place in a church in Brazil and was attended by friends and family. However, as all wedding goes, there are those in attendance that werenât accounted for.

Mingling with the guests was a stray dog. No one knew how long he has been staying there but it seemed to be comfortable with people since it was taking refuge in a church.
Instead of chasing the dog away, they let him stay.
Fortunately for the stray, Muzini is kind of a dog lover. She shared with the animal channel The Dodo that she was surprised to see him among the guests and that her heart melted at the sight of him.

As the ceremony began, the dog stayed by the church door. The dog stuck all throughout the program even as the couple exchanged their vows.
However, the couple didnât expect what happened next.
The dog mightâve felt what the couple was celebrating and as the ceremony concluded, the dog became more excited.

Then, as the couple marched through the crowd and toward the churchâs doors, a very special wedding crasher wanted to send their well-wishes.

This was the first time the couple saw the dog but the dog jumped on them excitedly as if he knew them. The dog even swerved in front of the cameraman just so he could be the first one to welcome Robert and Muzini to the world as a couple.
But Muzini felt that there was something more to the dogâs greeting.
“When he greeted us at the end so, he asked: ‘Take me home. Take me,'” Muzini said to The Dodo.

The couple felt that this moment was as destined as the day they first met. And now all they had to do is to decide on how the story was going to end for the wedding crasher.
It was a big day for the couple but an even bigger day for the dog.
The newlyweds adopted the dog and named him BraiaĚ Caramelo. And just like their vows to each other, they also committed to giving BraiaĚ the love he deserves.

As they investigated his condition, they concluded that the dogâs life wasnât easy. But just like all things, the important thing is he survived to live the best part of his story.
The couple only has good things to say about their newest family member.
“He’s so loving. Despite everything he’s been through, he still believes in the goodness of people,” Muzini said to The Dodo. “Really, he adopted us.”
