Have you ever heard of a fainting goat? They are a special breed of goat that respond to being scared by completely passing out. You can just jump from around a corner and they will drop like a stone! If you think a fainting goat is funny, check out this fainting dog!

We have all felt a little stressed before.

Stress is something that we all have experienced before. It can cause us to do things we wish we wouldn’t do (looking at you, Ben and Jerry’s pint in the freezer). When we are hyper stressed or panicking, the effects can be even worse. We can sweat, get light-headed, and sometimes even pass out! There are some funny videos of wedding parties having a best man or groom pass out!

This dog is experiencing some serious stress!

The triggers for us as humans are usually pretty known. For some, it is public speaking. When you think of going up in front of people they get dry-mouthed and can’t find the words to say. For others, its talking to the opposite sex. Bars are basically your worst nightmare! This dog must have some bad experiences with the groomers. He is sitting all happy and dog-like until his owner pulls out the nail clippers.

Understanding your pet.

This owner obviously understands that her pup is not a fan of getting her nails clipped. She wouldn’t be filming in the first place if that were the case! She does her best to calm Ginger down by petting and soothing her. My dog is terrified in the car until he knows that we aren’t going to the vet! It is important to take care of your pet’s specific needs.

As things proceed, Ginger is showing her nerves.

After an unsuccessful attempt at calming Ginger down, her owner has to move forward with the nail clipping regardless. Nobody wants to get scratched by an excited dog. Taking her paw, Ginger seems ok…until she sees the clippers.

After seeing the clippers, Ginger tries to avert her eyes by looking up and away from the terrifying tool.

After her owner gets a paw in her hand, Ginger really starts to show how nervous she is. It all starts to go downhill when she sees the clippers out of the corner of her eye. Once she sees them, she looks up. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

Ginger’s evasive maneuver only bought her a few seconds. She doesn’t make it long after that.

My fear is needles. When I need to get blood drawn, I normally have to look away or I might not make it through the ordeal. Humans have these funny tendencies. As it turns out, dogs may have them as well!

With a final swoon, Ginger faints and rolls over onto her back!

Gingers body and mind finally came to a conclusion:

You don’t want to be awake for this.

After her swoon, thankfully her owner was able to move in and take care of the much-needed trimming. I guess some things are just better not seen! Ginger, of course, wasn’t harmed or in pain, she just has a phobia!
